Hotel et Spa l'Eclose by Odalys

Stayed 8 nights recently in a king deluxe hotel room . The hotel itself is beautiful with excellent facilities including onsite restaurant , bar , cafe , indoor pool , spa , ski drying rooms and lockers , car parking . Our room was modern , luxurious dnd comfortable . Kitchenette was self contained with everything we needed . Disappointing that our room was not attended to at all during our stay for housekeeping , clean linen , towels etc and replacement toilet paper . I would have expected daily housekeeping including fresh towels, restocking toilet paper snd bed making as a minimum when you stay in a full serviced hotel and pay premium prices per night . Beautiful hotel though in great location . Housekeeping needs to be better though .

I don't often write reviews unless I feel it deserves it. Due to the reviews on here about this apart hotel I was fairly nervous about what we were going to find. Thankfully my fears were quickly settled from the minute we walked in the door. I have to say that our stay here was very good!! and in my opinion does not deserve the reviews it has. We had a very warm welcome on arrival, we arrived at 4pm and were told our apartment wasn't quite ready till 5pm, we were prepared for this as it pretty clear on their website that we can check in after 5pm. Staff at the reception were very helpful from the minute we arrived till we left, absolutely no issues here. Our accommodation was modern, spacious and very clean. we had a 2 bedroom (1 double room with ensuite and a twin room, bathroom and separate toilet.) perfect for 2 adults and 3 boys. beds we comfy and plenty cupboard space for clothes. Locker rooms were the only slight downside, whilst the lockers were spacious enough, if I am being very picky it would be good to have heated lockers to dry off boots particularly in spring with all the melted snow. but I am being really picky!! Location is ok, again I am being pretty picky here, there is an uphill walk of around 300m from the lockers to the Alp express which takes you to the ski lifts, in ski boots this is pretty frustrating as my youngest found out, but it wouldn't stop me booking here again! Swimming pool was very nice, there are a number of reviews saying it was cold, whilst we were there it was really nice temp, (yes not bath temp) but not cold at all! very pleasant after a day on the slopes. Facilities here were always very clean when we used them. (We didn't use the spa facilities) We booked each morning for breakfast, whilst this is probably an expensive way to do it the breakfast was very nice and there was a lot of variety in which to help your self(buffet style) There are a number of negative reviews stating the cleaning of the apartment before you leave- yes this is frustrating given that you pay to use the hotel, but in the alps this is pretty common place and tbf all we did was wash dishes, sweep/hoover floor (equipment in the appt) clean toilets and showers, maybe 60mins of tidy up was all that was required, its not too much and worth doing to save loosing your deposit. All in I could not find any faults with this accommodation, we were very pleased with our apartment and I would happily book here again without hesitation.

Extremely outdated, clean but definitely does not fit six adults comfortably.

Apartment was great for what we needed. Easy lift to slopes. Restaurant next door lovely

Things I liked : Amazing staff, very friendly, attentive and helpful. The reception team is fantastic, the girls who clean the rooms are amazing. And breakfast team is awesome. The rooms are big enough. Very clean. Bed is comfy. Liked the bath. Very nice after skiing. The view is stunning. Things I didn't like : It's only one big curtain per room , going through all length, not open in he middle. So or you open it to get lights and get no privacy, or you stay in the dark, to have no one from outside looking at you. If it was a transparent curtain under it will be awesome. Very noisy hotel, bad noise isolation, can hear everything in the corridor, over my room and outside in the street . ALSO weird for the price that we have to take our bins out, do our dishes and take off bed sheets etc... Ourselves. No veggies options or no beans at breakfast. For 20$ its a lot of money for not much options and choices. So yes glad the staff in the hotel were absolutely 💯 awesome, to compensate the rest.
