Harmony Suites Secaucus Meadowlands

I will never use trip.com again. I booked 2 nights with them months ago, knowing that I had a free cancellation/modification window. I read all the fine print, I contacted customer service to confirm everything. About a week before my window was closing, I tried to modify to 1 night. It would not let me. After FIVE DAYS of contacting them, I finally got it modified. Had I not continued to contact them, this never would have been resolved. THEN, upon checking in at the hotel I was told (even though I prepaid trip.com) that the hotel was never paid by the supplier. Therefore they would not check me in and I spent almost an hour on the phone with teip.com to have it resolved. Totally ridiculous.

This hotel is great! I loved my stay and completely satisfied with it. I got a first floor room which is super close to the everything. The king suite is very spacious and comfy. The sofa bed is great as well. I like how the management is very careful and helpful in addressing my requests. The best part is it is so close to the bus stop for a bus to NY. Simply walk 2 min, buy ticket at the machine, and wait for bus 320, will get you to the Port Authority bus station right by Time Square. Super convenient and worth every penny!

Location perfect to reach NY, but the Facilities were not good, sink was leaking, the rooms need some maintenance, the service was good, parking lot good.

Quick overnight stay Friday into Saturday.. hotel was clean room was comfortable.. location was right across from Meadowlands Expo Center.. no complaints at all, would stay again if need arose

We liked the cleanliness of the lobby and room. There were many breakfast options that we enjoyed. Because of the layout of the rooms, any sound in the hallways or lobby was amplified, which made it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep. Other than that, we were satisfied.

I had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, and the staff were pleasant. You cannot beat free parking and breakfast.

Very heavy Musty smell in the room. Condensation on the windows, water all the way to the window floor. No protest Heating, the heater was running at 80 degrees all night but room was not affected by it still keep cold. Kids started coughing in the morning. Booked hotel while traveling in TX, paid $550 per night on ******* expected that hotel deserves it by looking at pictures and reading reviews. However When we were in hotel checked the price for same Room same day stay and it was was $350, what a rip off … most likely by *******, because they can track your location and hike the prices.. btw this was for New Year’s Eve , January 3,4,5 and so on the hotel prices were around 200 all fees and taxes included.. hence the hotel is merely meets its criteria for being 3 star, I would give 2 star no more.. free breakfast is a disaster with nightmare, I suggest rather to pay for it and have a table than wonder around the crowd trying to pick empty chairs together, crazy lines and so on.. they give hotel business cards with signature sayings free breakfast which no one checking.. could not stay second night requested to cancel, but was denied! Lost $535, no refund, because I prepaid before arrival, will not make that mistake again, Terrible experience..
