Our stay at the bamboo holiday was great! We stayed for two nights to hike Huangshan. The hotel drops you off at the bus station for free and on the way back the shuttle bus that drives down the mountain stops directly in front of the hotel, so it was the perfect location for hikers. The included breakfast was plentiful and it was no problem to get a vegetarian version! ☺️ We also used the laundry service, which was a great benefit for busy travellers, received some free fruit and got a detailed recommendation for hiking routes. The room itself was spacious and well equipped and looked exactly like in the pictures. Everyone was very nice, the owner speaks English and with everyone else we would easily communicate via Google translate. Reaching the hotel via Didi from huangshanbei station was also no issue and only cost around 15 euros. All around a great experience!

We booked two rooms, both facing the road, and they were very noisy. I reported it to the owner, who said it would get better once the buses stopped running. I was speechless. One of the rooms also smelled of renovation. The hotel's environment was okay, but there was no service. Over 800 yuan is not really worth it, 500 at most.

The host family is so kind, generous and friendly! The interior design of the hotel is cozy, warm and feels like a second home. Modern sleek, an artsy boutique. Next door is their in house restaurant which has a wide array of dishes, highly rec the prawn, chicken soup and veg! The cocktails made by the owner are also a highlight :) truly made our stay in Huangshan very memorable! ♡

The owner was incredibly thoughtful, even reminding us and helping us buy tickets to Huangshan. The hotel's location is excellent; the scenic shuttle bus stops right at the entrance. The facilities are also great, and we even received welcome fruit. The owner also helped us plan our hiking itinerary. Our trip to Huangshan was perfect!

This guesthouse is located right at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, and it has a swimming pool, though it was too cold to use during my stay. Their twin room was fantastic! The design was really clever and perfect for our family of three. It had one large bed (1.65m) and one smaller bed (1.2m). It would work well for two adults and one child, or even three adults. Our little one was thrilled to have their own bed. The room was also clean, smelled fresh, and felt cozy and warm. After a good night's sleep, we were able to head out for a hike early the next morning. It was great! We'll definitely come back if we get the chance!
