The location of the homestay is close to Tailuge, the environment is beautiful and comfortable, and the bed is big enough for a family of three to sleep. The proprietress was very friendly and introduced the current situation of Tailuge, so she only went to the visitor center in the end. I also heard the proprietress share her experience during the earthquake. I am grateful that the homestay is very safe here. I will come back next time. ~
Good location, not too far away from Taroko but still quite far to Hualien. There is a small town nearby with some restaurants but we only noticed that when we left. I would advise to stay in this hotel and hike outside the park, then drive through the park as there are only advanced hike open in the park on top section.
There happened to be a night market that day, and the location is right next to the station. The room is large and the hair dryer is great. They also upgraded us to have a balcony, but the only thing is that the air conditioner is very loud. There are fewer breakfast options, but everything else is excellent. The proprietress is very kind.
The hotel has beautiful scenery, delicious breakfast, and comfortable and convenient in-room facilities. It's almost impossible to find any faults! It's a good hotel that I will definitely choose again next time I visit Hualien!
Best best best hotel we have ever stayed in. Services provided was excellent. All staff were very genuinely. It really felt like a 5 star hotel. We stayed in another 5 star hotel in Jiaoxi which is No. 1 in Jiaoxi but the service cannot be matched. Well done to all the staff.
Room was always clean. Thank you to the staff who cleaned our spectacle. It was a nice gesture. Different snacks were topped up everyday. The face mask provided was so good!
Surrounding of the hotel was very nice. We had the gorge view and OMG! We don't mind waking up to this view everyday. We hope they will contruct a stairs for guest to go down to the gorge. It is a waste to just see it from the top.
Breakfast was good. We could see that they have made an effort to label which is vegetarian and which is not. It's very thoughtful of the restaurant. However, we had a seafood porridge and thought it was purely seafood but notice there was chicken in it but not written. Maybe they can improve in this.
Kids are very well entertained in this hotel. They have a huge play room for them. Indoor pool with heated pool is enough to keep the kids occupied for 2hours at least. They also have daily activities and some are free.
Thank you Silk Place for the wonderful stay. We will be back.
The homestay is located at Tailuge Station in Hualien's new city. It takes about 13 minutes to walk.
The proprietress told a lot of useful travel information when checking in, such as nearby restaurants, traffic and beaches, and booking ATVs. The rooms are small and fresh, with a terrace and a quiet environment. The restaurant in the new city is concentrated in the old street of the new city. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the hotel. The proprietress said that if it is too late, she can drive us back to the hotel from the old street.
The breakfast in the morning is very delicate and delicious, with a cup of coffee, feel the feeling of vacation.
There is a Zeng Ji Majuan near the homestay that tastes good. You can buy a hand letter home on the way. Thank you B&B for picking us back to the B&B and taking us to the train station on the last day. When we checked in, there was a welcome note written by the proprietress. It was very heartwarming and full of human touch. I recommend everyone.
Highly recommendable! We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is perfect, if you want to reach the cliffs and the beach, if you want to go for a hike in the Taroko National Park, or have a foody day in Hualien.
The accomodation was clean, spacious, homy, had everything we needed to relax. There was a pond with turtles. The host was friendly, helpful and he cooked delicious food every morning, the food was fresh and he prepared it by himself.
For this trip to Zhongheng, staying in Tianxiang will save a lot of time on the next day's trip. Tianxiang Youth Activity Center has arrangements for music performances in the evening, and buffet breakfast is available the next day. The room type is three Single bed, a group of friends traveling in their own bed will not affect each other's sleep, overall it is quite good!
The main reason for wanting to experience a ”capsule” hotel was to check it out. My elementary school kids loved it, running around in the bunk beds. The single beds were actually quite large and very new. The room was well-planned and detailed; each room had its own charging port, a small light, a cabinet, and even toiletries! The shared bathroom was very clean. The kitchen was accessible on the first floor, so we went to Qixingtan to buy fish to fry at night – it was fantastic! If you arrive at the hotel early, you can ride bicycles and walk to the beach, where there's a heated swimming pool! In the morning, we played cards in the common area on the first floor while listening to music. 👍
