The hygiene was excellent, and the location was super convenient. There's a bus stop just a two or three-minute walk away that goes to Futamigaura, which made it incredibly easy to visit the white torii gate in the sea. Directly across the street is the old-established Nagahama Ramen, and there are plenty of other restaurants nearby. Downstairs, there's a FamilyMart convenience store, and it's very close to Gion subway station. Getting to Hakata Station is also easy, about a 10-minute walk. Like other Dormy Inns, it had hot springs, ice cream, complimentary Yonaki ramen at night, and Yakult. The breakfast selection was also very rich. The only downside was the price, which was a bit high because I visited during Golden Week.
Overall, I loved it! I was surprised to find a natural hot spring hotel in the middle of a bustling city, and the opening hours are quite long – from 3 PM all the way until 9:30 AM the next day! Fantastic! Every night after exploring, a dip in the hot spring brought me back to life. I only discovered upon arrival that this hot spring is specifically for relieving fatigue and aiding recovery. I soaked 6-7 times, and I even felt my shoulder pain diminish a bit. This is definitely something they could promote more! Also, they have high-end beauty products: the hairdryer! I'm in love! The location is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, which is acceptable. There's a bus stop right next to the hotel, which is super convenient for getting to LaLaport, I'd recommend taking it. Just across the street, there's a famous ramen shop. If you like it, you could go every day – truly delightful! Although I booked a room with a window, it unfortunately faced another building, so it made no difference whether there was a window or not! The only thing that could be improved is the yellowing bottom part of the white shower curtain in the bathroom. It would be better if it were replaced.
