Super friendly and helpful staff! The location was brilliant, it only took around 25 minutes to get to the airport, as well as walking distance to a lot of the main central sites to see in Fukuoka. Shower room was clean and well equipped and the sleeping pod was also clean and very comfortable. The most amount of space I’ve had to myself in a hostel I think. The included breakfast was basic but I think it’s enough for what you’re paying. There was coffee/tea, bread, jam, yoghurt, granola and a couple of baked goods. See my picture for what I had (it filled me up for the morning, so no complaints from me). Only negative for me was the sound the door to the room makes when locking/unlocking. Obviously in a hostel you can expect a bit of noise and people coming/going throughout the night, but I had the pod closest to the door and the sound of it closing, locking and unlocking was extremely loud. There’s nothing the guests can do to minimise this, even if you close it softly. The automatic lock is so loud. This might only be an issue if you’re close to the door but be prepared, it’s quite an infuriating sound and I could unfortunately hear it through my headphones. All in all, I still enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again! Would just maybe request a pod further from the door☺️

Don’t think I can recommend the place. The space is too tight, the tenants are very loud all night and morning, the locker space is too small because they installed the bed above, you have to crouch below. If you don’t care of any comfort - you may stay. But there are better options in Fukuoka.

This is the third WeBase I've stayed at. Take the subway from Hakata Station for two stops to Nakasu-Kawabata Station, exit 7, and walk for five minutes. There is a striking big cat at the door. There are about 30 beds in the multi-person mixed room. The public area is very clean. The public bathroom is on the second floor, and there is a separate bathroom for girls. The ninth floor is the breakfast and public space. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. There is space for luggage storage and self-service coin-operated laundry on the first floor. Good location, high cost performance, clean, and the service staff are from all over the world and are very enthusiastic.

I think the environment and atmosphere of this hostel is very nice. The bed is comfortable enough to sleep and the shared space is very clean when enquieped with heater and microwaves. Also the self service of check in and out is very convenient for me. I would come again.

I booked the hotel on Trip.com just before my stay, and was able to check in smoothly. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the common areas were well-maintained. I'd love to stay here again the next time I visit Fukuoka!

3 children 1 adult We stayed for 3 nights with 4 people. kids loved it I contacted them because they didn't have body wash. He said he was sorry and immediately brought it to me and gave me a drink. Due to the nature of Japan, humidity seems inevitable and it was nice to see the river. But when I open the door to ventilate, the smell of the river comes out. It's close to Tenjin and Aeon Mall is nearby, so it's great for shopping and walking!

It was nice to be able to get there by bus from Hakata Station. It wasn't uncomfortable just to sleep. There is a small izakaya right in front, so you can enjoy the local atmosphere.

It was about a 20-minute walk from Gofuku Station. It's very convenient as it's close to the airport! The environment was quiet and I was able to relax in a calm atmosphere. I think it's perfect for solo travelers! There is a hot spring nearby, so I didn't have to worry too much about bathing.

The room feels like renting a one-room apartment, and there is no elevator, so it may be a little difficult if you have a lot of luggage The building is not new, but the room was very clean and clean, so it was comfortable. The bath was only a shower, but I was worried, but the shower temperature was not well determined. It has become hot or cold water. Other than that, there was no problem. We arrived early, but did not enter room, but were able to leave baggage comfortably and were able to check in. I would like to stay again

First, the staff service is excellent, always greet you with a smile and accommodating. Second, the hostel is well maintained and clean, and the pillow, blanket, and bed are good quality. Common areas like the lounge, shower, and toilet are functional and clean. Third, the location is close to the bus station, a 3-minute walk, and 10-15 minutes to Hakata station. I love that they have options for female and male-only dormitories and mixed—an excellent price for what you get. I highly recommend Hostel Toki and will visit again when I travel to Fukuoka.
