Landhaus Kossel

The view is INCREDIBLE! We had a standard room and the view was absolutely jaw-dropping. The whole room felt like luxury to me! I loved the location too - walking distance to several restaurants. It isn't in "old town" Fussen - it's in Hopfen Am See - but it was even more perfect and Bavarian and charming. Best place I stayed on our trip to Bavaria. 12 minutes to the Neuschwanstein Castle. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

This place was out of this world! I wish we had known before we booked all of our trip, we would have stayed here a few more days! The service was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so fresh and tasty. Such a relaxing stay! We will most definitely be back.

Great place to stay. We didn’t know one of the keys was for the office. There’s a coffee machine in there. Bring coin if you forget to bring your own coffee.

Beautiful location with cows and horses close by (note the smell of the country when you open the windows, which you will need to, because like most places in the area, there is no A/C). Gorgeous views of the mountains from the rooms. The breakfast area is pure Bavaria and super cool. Staff was very welcoming. Room was very beautiful and well equipped including a basic kitchen with everything you'd need for a long stay. We arrived after reception closed and the instructions were easy to follow. This place is a hidden gem! It's close to Fussen (15 min) if you are in the area to see the castles, but far enough to get away from the crowds.

We did not stay in the Landhaus Kössel hotel, but in a house apartment in the town of Füssen that was offered by the same host who manages the Landhaus Kössel hotel apparently. Our stay in the Stadtvilla has been excellent. For me the cleanliness has always been the highest and main priority when travelling, so this is the first thing that grabbed my attention when I entered the apartment - it was extremely clean and tidy. The interior is exactly the same as it looks on the pictures, with interesting design. Check in/out was very smooth - the registration is done online, and the entry in the apartment is via self-check-in, instructions for which were provided in advance, prior our arrival. The host has even left us Füssen tourist cards for travelling to visit the King's Castles. He was responsive to my questions in the Application's chat. Overall we felt very comfortable staying at Stadtvilla Füssen. If I have to point out some improvement suggestions in order to prove that this is not an AI generated comment :) , here are some, but they are so small that they would not change my evaluation even slightly. The door of the toilet does not lock;; an automatic e-mail about reception working hours and breakfast has been sent to me, while it was related to the hotel, which was a bit confusing;; there is a toilet and a bathroom separated, it might be a good idea to have a second toilet in the bathroom as well;; could not find any supplies in the kitchen, e.g. napkins or kitchen paper. There are two bedrooms (double bed) and a small room (with a bed) as an extension of one of the bedrooms. A glass door separates the bedroom and the small room. So, if you are a bigger group, you might want to take into account that optimal capacity of the apartment for max. comfort is 5 people or 4 adults and a child. However, our group of 6 people still managed to sleep there (as it is not that big of a problem for one night and when you are in a hurry and tired from travelling). But the pointed above is just the gap between excellent and perfect. in general, I could say that the stay at Stadtvilla Füssen has been the best one from all the three places we stayed at during our vacation in Bavaria. I would definitely go back and stay at Stadtvilla Füssen and I hope to have the chance to do so some day. Also, I would visit the Landhaus Kössel, as I am sure that that it adheres to the same high standards as Stadtvilla Füssen.

Peaceful stay outside of Fussen. This place was an oasis - we stayed in the cabin down by the pool and it was the perfect getaway. We had a pool, grill, picnic table, and fire pit outside. Inside was spacious with a luxurious bathroom shower and tub. Right near the lake too which was so warm!! We enjoyed staying in here much more than going into the town of Fussen.

The staff was very accommodating. We loved the upstairs balcony and view from the room. The morning breakfast was great too. We will stay here next time we are in the area for sure!

Hotel property is beautiful. Room was spacious and very clean. Perfect for our family of four. Free parking onsite. Staff was friendly and helpful.
