The hotel's location is great. Even though it's not beachfront, it's super convenient for exploring Kalakaua Avenue and a short walk to the beach. The room didn't come with toiletries or slippers. The parking garage has multiple levels, but one night when we returned after 10 PM, there were no spots left, so we had to park in a mall partnered with the hotel.

Everything was great except for the low floor allocation – being on the 6th floor near Kuhio Avenue, it was a bit noisy. I've stayed at the Marriott and Hyatt near Waikiki in the past two years, but if your main purpose is to go out and explore, this Waikiki Malia is really good value for money. It's more convenient for dining and shopping, plus the parking garage is integrated with the hotel, which is reassuring. The pool is small, but it's perfect for kids who are just learning to swim, almost like a dedicated children's pool. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the service overall was excellent.

The hotel's location is excellent, with shopping malls, convenience stores, and restaurants everywhere nearby. It's also just a few minutes away from Waikiki Beach, which is super convenient. The hotel itself is very comfortable and clean, and the service is great too.

The location is great! It's situated on a commercial street just two blocks from Waikiki Beach, so it's super close to the ocean. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so you'll never have to worry about finding a place to eat. The cleanliness and service were also top-notch; the staff were very warm and attentive. The environment is lovely, and there's even a bubble pool on the first floor to enjoy. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy at night with the street traffic, but having a small balcony to enjoy the view more than makes up for it! It's just so convenient, and the price is reasonable too!

The location is super convenient! The W line from the airport takes you directly here, and there are buses to all the attractions. It's also just a 10-minute walk from the Hilton. The room was spacious and even had a small round table for dining. The downsides are that the Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak and the hot water temperature was unstable.

Location of hotel, cleanliness, and service are great. Pool is small but not crowded as most visitors opt for the beach. Moving through the parking garage is very tight - recommend smaller vehicles only.

It was okay, but the price was reasonable, the transportation was convenient, and the surrounding environment was good.

This hotel is located at the back of the Luxury row. It is convenient for the beach and also shops and bars. The room was large, the bed was comfortable. The balcony is quite small. Overall it is clean. There is a gym onsite but the pool is tiny. The front desk service is efficient and friendly. They provide complementary coffee and tea in the morning. They also provide complementary beach towels.

The rooms didn't feel as good in person as in the photos. I feel the price is good for what you pay for. Overall, I wasn't blown away, but I wasn't too disappointed either. If you're mostly going out all day and just need a place to sleep, this is pretty good for that. Rental car companies nearby offer free overnight parking, so that was good.

The room was clean and not far from the beach. It's also convenient to catch a ride downstairs.

The location is great, close to the beach with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. However, the sound insulation facing the street isn't good, and the air conditioning is old and noisy.

The room was quite clean, and the location is excellent – about a 10-minute walk to the beach. It's also near a shopping mall, with plenty of convenience stores and supermarkets, so you'll never run out of food options. The bus stop is very close too, making it quick and easy to get to the airport and major tourist attractions. The only downside was that the drainage in the bathroom shower was very slow. If that's a big concern for you, you might want to request a different room. On a positive note, the free Kona coffee in the morning was delicious! I'd definitely book again if I have the chance. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

The hotel receptionists are all Japanese, and many Japanese guests stay here. The hotel's location is decent; it's just a few minutes' walk to Waikiki Beach. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and a bus stop right downstairs, making it convenient to get around. Overall, it's pretty good and offers great value for money.
