Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Hilton Hawaiian Village - Lgn Tower

We have friends who own at Hilton Grand Vacations and we have heard good things, so we decided to try it, booking via Hilton.com. We were overall very disappointed. The room was a good size, but I think our room had the worst possible location and view, facing a loud/busy street and looking at a rooftop and gutter just a few feel outside out balcony. We didn't expect a great room view, so while this was disappointing, we were still hoping to enjoy our vacation. After check in, we went down to the pool and beach area. After checking out the pool for a few minutes and walking to the beach, the pool had closed. We asked about getting some pool towels. We were surprised to see the pool closed so early. They said we would have to wait until morning to get towels. The next morning, we went to the pool to try to get pool towels but it wasn't open yet. We would have liked to have some towels for the beach, so we went to the front desk. They said that no towels were available until the pool opened, so we asked about some extra room towels to take to the beach. They said that room towels were absolutely not allowed to leave the room. So we were left for several hours that morning with no towels. The pool finally opened and we stood in a very long line to get towels and enter the pool. To say the pool was crowded would be an extreme understatement! During the day, it was impossible to get a pool chair, and at one point we counted 24 people in the only available hot tub (the sign said it was limited to 9 people, so over 3x capacity). The pool was also very crowded. Our kids were looking forward to using the slides, but we found out that slide 1 was only open from 11am-2pm, and slide 2 was only open from 2pm-5pm. There were many kids waiting for the slides to open. At the end of the day as slide 2 was closing, I saw a mother and daughter arrive right at 5pm, and they were turned away from the slide as it was just closing. The little girl left in tears, as she had probably just flown hours to Hawaii and arrived too late to use the slide (even though the pool was still open). With so many people staying at the hotel, it is beyond me why each slide can only be open for 3 hours per day! The overall pool area was unsatisfactory, extremely small, extremely poorly staffed, and crowded based on what I would expect for a Hilton vacation club property. Late pool opening, slides open for only 3 hours, early closing hours, unavailability of towels and seatin

We highly recommend this property. We stayed in a two bedroom/two bath Oceanview condo on the corner of the 21st floor. It was so quiet/comfortable and we really enjoyed the view from our balcony - watching the sunrise, early morning surfers, parasailing, etc... You could sit out there for hours. We had heard the Hilton property was too busy, but we never felt that way. The beach area is huge and was not overcrowded at all. The staff was so nice and welcoming. We declined housekeeping, but any time they saw us in the hallway they made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return.

This's my first time booking through ”trip” app. I glad i did. Our room is corner views where we got both the view from diamond head and oceanfront. This's the best experience i have. We arrived at the hotel on a Friday night around 7pm Hawaii time. Didn't expect they were doing fireworks around 8pm. I got to see it right from my window view. Omg.....i was breaking in tears where i haven't experience of fireworks this close before. I wish they allow video reviews in here where i can share my recording of the fireworks to you all. My daily views from my room are the best everyday and night throughout our stay. We walked around the beaches, restaurants and stores around the hotel area everynight before bed. Anyway, thank you for the awesome experience and memories. Love it so much and totally recommend.

It is very convenient to go to the beach, just a few minutes walk away from the net red Kamemaru noodles. The parking fee is more expensive, it costs 39 dollars/night, you can find other parking lots to save costs.

My husband booked this hotel for us celebrate my 50th birthday in Oahu. It was an amazing trip. Our stay at the hotel was awesome. The entire staff had great customer service 😍(receptionist, housekeeping, onsite restaurant) everything. The suite we were in was very spacious and had everything we needed (kitchenette, separate extra large stand up shower and tub, double sink vanity and separate closet for me and my husband and the toilet was in a separate room. Also, on each floor was a complimentary washer and dryer. The best part of this hotel is the location. Everything was literally at our fingertip ( shopping ,restaurants ,beach and other historical spots. I would highly recommend and definitely stay here again.

Well situated inside Hilton Hawaiian Village Property, this hotel tower offers upscale accommodation, an expansive lobby and reception area, an on-site convenience store “Accents,” concierge services, luggage storage, and convenient self-parking. Since the GW is on the border of the property, it seems to be a quieter location than the other towers, with exception perhaps of All’i. The Paradise Pool is closest and offers poolside food service; the Lagoon is also close by and is usually quiet in the am, until all the aqua bikes and floats come out in the pm. Our 32nd floor 2 Bedroom Oceanview suite had a wonderful view from the 2 balconies, and also offered a distant view of the Hilton luau most evenings. Master king bedroom had good closet and drawer storage, a large bath, with separate shower and tub, and the deluxe Toto! ( great toilets everywhere in this town, even at the airport!) The tropical scented toiletries are very nice. Second bedroom had good closet and drawer space, a balcony perfect for sunrise yoga, and a bath with shower. From the entry door ( ring our doorbell please), a hallway led into the living room, which opened into a second balcony, and into the kitchen and dining area. Kitchen had all needed items-dishes, bowls, cutlery, pots, pans, coffeemaker (and coffee packets), electric hot water pot, dishwasher, microwave, full size fridge and freezer….. Suite was nicely decorated, and had 3 TV sets. The Samsung washer and dryer were so useful in this hot weather to freshen our clothing, and small packets of eco- friendly detergent were included. Housekeeping staff was most attentive and stopped daily to see if we would like service. Rooms were kept as neat as a ship’s cabin! We did a lot of takeaway meals, and ate outside on our balcony at sunset. We requested a late checkout, which is available for a fee. However, since Saturday is the high guest turnover day, GW was unable to do this for us. But, the GW does offer its guests a lounge facility, with comfortable seating, and showers and bathrooms. Since the HNL flights always seem to be late evening, this lounge allowed us to go to the beach all day and clean up before flight time, while our bags were in storage with the bellman. We have stayed in several hotels on the property and really liked the quiet and convenient location and spaciousness of the GW. Also, the elevators were almost always fast, and there are longer walks and stairs in the lobby area when entering from the pool area.
