It was very cold at night as it is central air-conditioning. You cannot shut down the air-conditioning as the room control cannot turn it off. The only way is to ask for an additional blanket. The room service is not clearly indicated on the telephone set, even the woman on the front desk at night services couldn't tell the room guests how to operate, she just asked the guests to follow instructions at room but actually there is none of the guide found. Only the front desk on day services can tell to dial '0' to call room service. It was ridiculous! The so called family room is only adding one narrow bed slided out from another bed on the top when it is needed at night.

I had a great time here. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional and provided excellent customer service. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. The hotel also offers delicious dining options, and the breakfast is very generous. Conveniently located near public transport and shopping centres. I personally hope this hotel is going to remain off the map of frequent travelers for a little while because it will run the risk of being fully booked permanently.It is located in San Po Kong, one of the industrial areas of Begone Hong Kong, near the former Kai Tak Airport. It is a well-deserved public transport area, with buses and MTR lines taking you anywhere you wish to be. The rooms are spotless. And there are plenty of restaurants nearby! You might have difficulty finding the hotel because it seems to be totally undercovered. No sign, nothing. They were open for business just a few months ago!

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Checked in real late on a weekend and the front office lady was very courteous to have our room upgrade to suite. The view isn’t particularly impressive but the room was spacious with basic amenities all in place. Requested for late check out the next day and the staff was accommodating. One thing that the hotel must pay attention to is the cleanliness of the bathroom. The bathtub wasn’t cleaned thoroughly as there’s ********** right in the bathtub and stains on floor. The “note” to previous guest was still lying on the floor when we entered the room. Overall speaking it is valued for money however awareness on hygiene must be enhanced

Arriving at the end of Chinese New Year is a challenge - for both hotels and non-mainland travelers. The hotel managed the flow of visitors well. The concierge service is top notch, friendly, fast and welcoming. The only downside I have to state is that the cleanliness of the room is more in the 3 star category. I had to change my room due to a strong odor coming out of the AC, which was likely caused by the excessive mold around the AC. The room change was however swift and without issues. Overall, the location is what sells this hotel. It is conveniently located for all types of Hong Kong travel.

The location is good where there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. However, our room’s toilet and the sink were stuck, we called for front desk for almost around 20 minuets for help. The room is quite dim and not enough light, other than that, this hotel is alright.

This is our first time stay at Royal Plaza hotel. Hotel staff Sammy assisted on the check in and even goes an extra mile to help us set up wifi connection. The rooms were impressive and thanks to the hotel for acceding to our request for a connecting room. Location of the hotel was superb with shopping mall, short walking distance to Fa Yuen Street and public transport. Overall we have a great and enjoyable experience and will definitely stay in this hotel again. Only feedback is on the sale of royal delights souvenir by the hotel, a well versed staff should be at the counter to promote the various products.

Location quite good, close to MTR and trans etc. Staff in hotel and at breakfast very nice, front desk seemed abrupt. Room, corridors and facilities all clean but very tired - the hotel seems older than it actually is. Rooftop pool was cold but beautiful; fantastic views. What made the difference between mediocre and good for me was the breakfast, which was amazing. A huge range of every kind of food imaginable - Western-style cooked, continental, local food, fruit, yogurts, cereals, bread, pastries, rolls. Really impressive and very nice staff in attendance. My room was a bit chilly and I couldn’t get air con to blow warm air so they brought me an electric heater which did the trick. Shower was only lukewarm but I’m sure if I’d called front desk they would have tried to sort it.

Stayed at one of the twin apartment rooms and the room is incredibly spacious! The room includes a personal washer+dryer inside the room, so doing laundry is incredibly easy. The staff speak fluent English and are easy to approach for any and all questions. The hotel is further in Kowloon side of Hong Kong, but close to MTR Shek Mun station. They also offer complimentary shuttle bus service to multiple places in Hong Kong. I recommend eating the breakfast buffet, the selection is plentiful. I would definitely come stay again!
