Great location! Right next to the train stop and only 500m from the subway station. The hotel is a bit old, but look how spacious it is! The bathroom size is amazing! You even have a table in the room! Very clean; Th staff cleaned and vacuumed every day. The staff is very friendly and nice. I felt very welcomed. Definitely recommend staying. Again: LOOK AT THAT WHOLE ROOM. Higher floors also have a great view of the harbor. It's very close to the water, can take a night walk.

If you are looking for a big room without the Tsim Sha Tsui price tag, this is it. As a Filipino, I loved that I could grab a quick meal at the nearby Jollibee or McDonald's and stock up on snacks at 7-Eleven. Common guest tip: The hotel is situated on a busy market street (Chun Yeung Street), which is unique but can be a bit sensory in the morning with the smells of fresh produce. It’s about a 20-minute MTR ride to TST, so factor that into your travel time. The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful, even if the building feels a little old.

I knew there was a market downstairs, but I didn't realize it was this kind of market. The smell was very strong when walking around below. The whole room looked very basic. For this price, it's incomparable to what you'd get on the mainland. It's miles behind the place I stayed last week. How can this even be a four-star hotel? There are also a lot of nursing homes around here; you see ambulances on the street every day... And most places around here prefer Hong Kong dollars for food. However, the room they gave me was excellent, with both city and sea views!

Hotel is along Chun Yeung Street where the market flanks both sides of the road. There is NO market smell in the hotel room itself. There is a 7-11 at one corner and cooked food shops along King’s Road which is parallel behind the hotel and a mall Harbour Point further down along Java Road. (Bottled water is cheaper at the Indonesian stall at the other corner of Chun Yeung Street.) No bottled water provided. The hotel itself is old. Room is spacious enough to open a big luggage. Some of the lifts buttons don’t work well and the peephole does not have a cover. At least everything works and is clean. Bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Soap/shampoo/conditioner come from dispensers counted on the wall. Aircon blasting all day after room service does their cleaning, and the toilet flush does not have half flush - hotel’s selling point was never about being eco-friendly. The thermostat actually works, though! Double bed is two single bed mattresses put together. Cannot sleep in the middle because the hard mattress edge pokes. There are 2 tiny steps at the hotel front. No ramps. Not wheelchair or big luggage friendly. People stay here because it is affordable and good location. It is a busy hotel with busy lifts and long waiting time, but in a sense also good to know that there are always people around.

This was a reluctant add on night to our original booking due to the fact I was trying to get repatriated through my insurance. Please see my full review on the Ramada and why I do not recommend this as value for money. In short, the hotel photos seem to have been taken 10yrs ago & do not reflect the actual dirty, poor quality (holes in linens and towels), closed pool, mould etc. We experienced this in two rooms. Pool was closed. It has a central location but think you can get cleaner for your money

There was a musty smell in the room, and the towels provided had some stains. The air conditioning remote control kept making a strange noise, like a circuit malfunction. Waiting for the elevator was a terrible experience! And every time I stepped out of the elevator, there was an unpleasant odor outside, as the hotel's main entrance faces a wet market.

The location is good, very near tram stops and only a short walk to the MTR. I found my room was very unclean, the bathtub wasn't clean and the areas around the drain and switch from bath/shower mode were particularly bad. The towels had a lot of stains and were not appealing, they also have the date when they entered service stitched into them which only made me question the state of it more because they were quite new but exceptionally stained in my opinion. The room was tired and not hugely clean, but the bedsheets were very clean which is the most important. There was also no soap in the bathroom, which didn't help the mood given how dirty most things were. Weirdly the phone was in a particularly poor state. The staff are polite and all speak good English and happily resolve any issues, which was a relief. The bed was firm and thankfully clean (more than can be said for the carpet) but the pillows were frightfully uncomfortable, somehow mushy and brick hard in the centre too. There was a good amount of plugs in good places, and a good hair dryer. The tv didn't work very well, I haven't seen flickery pictures with the weather in decades, so I guess that is nostalgic. The hotel was quiet, and there were no unsavoury or unseemly people around, and the staff were always very friendly and welcoming. Check-in and check out was smooth and pleasant, and my room was ready right away which is nice as often that isn't the case in HK upon arrival, it was also easy to get a taxi. The pool is currently closed, as were all the other facilities when I was there. Another guest complained to me in the lift about the pool being closed as he said that he called ahead to ask and they said it was open but it had been closed for a long time, maybe they are renovating? This final complaint is universal to all hotels in HK but the whole no bottled water no tooth paste "eco" rules is a bit ridiculous when everywhere is absolutely blasted with air conditioning and single use plastic, that is not this hotel's fault. If you are looking for just a basic dormitory in HK then this is adequate, but I can't claim to have enjoyed my time staying here. Although, I also haven't stayed at anywhere lower end than this on HKI so maybe the floor is much lower and I may be spoiled. Also I know a name is just a name, but it did make me laugh that the "grand view" on the sign is what is pictured in my image upload.

For Hong Kong, the room is quite spacious. It's convenient to grab a bite downstairs, and you can enjoy a sea view from the higher floors. The hot water pressure is excellent and heats up instantly. The gentleman at the front desk provided outstanding service; he was incredibly warm and helpful, which made us feel very welcome.
