Apple Hostel

While in a little bit of an intimidating building and initially on the harder side to find, once found very conveniently located very centrally. The room itself and bathrooms were well cleaned but the office room and general dingyness meant it didn't necessarily feel so clean overall. The room was very suitable for a solo traveller just to spend the nights; it even had a desk for some last minute planning. A towel and toothbrushes were provided and both bathrooms had shampoo supplies. There was also a water refill station in the lobby. Overall, after the initial hurdle of finding and getting used to the building's scary ground floor, a very pleasant stay!

I would give 5/5 to the hostel. Manager is very friendly, room is clean, easy to check in, also very reasonable price.

I had some difficulty locating the accommodation when I arrived at the location shown on the map. It would be helpful for the address to mention you access the hostel through Chungking Mansions entrance. I had booked a single en suite room and when I checked in the receptionist was concerned the room might be too small for me and wanted to show it me first. I had been warned rooms tend to be compact in HK. It was fine for 2 nights. The room had everything I needed and a/c was good if a little noisy. Wi-Fi was excellent. I did not use any other facilities. Location was perfect - 5 min walk to the harbour front and about 15 min walk to the ferries across to Hong Kong island. If you want to pay hundreds of GBP fir a room there are plenty of hotels to go to. I did not want to do that so accommodation was fine for me

The front desk was a nice lady whom attended to me during checked in. The only thing is that the room was without window despite requested during the time of my booking. Overall a good experience staying in a hostel and all the basic amenities are provided.

We got this for a super cheap price. The room is simple but classy. I like that it’s located at the heart of HK (TST) where you can find most of the tourist spots and restaurants. Near the MTR station and exits too making it more user friendly.
