Hilton Garden Inn Hong Kong Mongkok

The hotel is in Mongkok which is very good as close to metro, easy to attractions, for sure zone is cheaper one. The pool on the roof is excellent or would be excellent if window glass was clean. If you want to swim and admire the view, not a chance. So I wonder why hotel did not clean it properly? Small gym is also fine. When I was booking a room it was described as 'garden view ". It was more expensive. So, when we arrived I was sadly surprised as there is no garden of the hotel. Windows of each room are one side, meaning you have a huge road and hotel is placed parallel to it. So even if our room was on one of the highest floors, we could hear the street. And the noise is constant as this is like a highway. I think that hotel such Hilton should be honest. For them garden view means that on the opposite side of that huge road there is a small green activity area, tennis courts and school. But this view belongs to everyone, every guest. So, why is this so special? It is not, pure marketing. And I think hotel such as Hilton should give money back to clients. Another issue which is extremely strange, but not only in Hilton garden hotel in Hong Kong, but other Hiltons in that region , reception staff does not speak really English. They try but it is very limited English.
