I don’t know how this hotel can be rated a 4 star. At best this should only be given a 3 star. I’ve stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in total and the experience is really not great. Mind you this is $100 a night on average.
1) lobby does not smell good and the carpet that welcomes you is literally filled with dust and dirt, if you can’t have it professionally cleaned regularly at least get a new one once every 6 months.
2) the lift was out of order for almost the entire booking period, there is only 2 lifts avail and the service staff uses the same lift to do house keeping, imagine having to fight for the lift in the AM. I empathize with the staff but it takes me around 10 mins every morning to get from 25th floor to ground floor.
3) the air condition on the floor while you’re waiting for the lift does not work, so you’re already sweating balls even before you head out. This is unacceptable.
4) they charge you 5HKD for water!! This is a 4 star hotel and they don’t provide you water in your room?!
5) the lobby is in a mess and boxes of documents laying everywhere
6) they only provide you with 2 disposable toothbrush in the morning and come to clean your room once a day, if you miss the AM timing they won’t clean your room twice, what a pressure to wake up innit?
You’ll be better off taking your monies to any nearby hotels and I’m sure it’ll be better than this one.
