As the first phase of the disposable plastics regulation came into effect in the second quarter of 2024, Hong Kong hotels are no longer allowed to provide disposable plastic bottled water, disposable plastic containers, or toiletries made from them in guest rooms free of charge. In accordance with these restrictions, drinking fountains are available in the elevator lobbies on guest room floors for guests' convenience. Guests can use the kettles provided in their rooms or bring their own water bottles to replenish their filtered room-temperature drinking water. Regarding the service of individual front desk staff, we have reminded all frontline staff (including part-time staff) to maintain a friendly and courteous attitude when communicating with guests, and we will further enhance the customer service skills training of frontline staff to ensure a consistent and attentive service experience for every guest. On another note, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the noise from the room air conditioning and the elevator environment, and we would appreciate it if you could provide us with more information about your stay (including guest name, room number, and check-in date) so that we can follow up. We have also reminded all housekeeping staff to pay extra attention to the guest rooms and hotel environment to ensure guests experience a comfortable and hygienic environment.
