Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong

The hotel is quite close to Disneyland and offers a shuttle service, though the timing is very strict. We only got to see the fireworks for ten minutes; it would have been great if the bus left a bit later. Everything else was good. The shuttle also goes to Citygate Outlets, so we went shopping there the next day. The hotel breakfast was excellent, the satay sauce was delicious, and the soft-boiled eggs were tasty too. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The location and surroundings are fantastic, with a pleasant view of both mountains and the sea. It's a quiet neighborhood with a low population density and many foreign residents. The room was very quiet; even though we stayed near the elevator, there was no noise at all. The room is spacious, the hairdryer works great, and the bathroom is large too. Transportation is very convenient, with shuttle buses available to Disneyland, Citygate Outlets, and West Kowloon. We didn't even need to take the MTR during this trip to Hong Kong—so convenient! The only downside is that there was still a lot of dust in the room, especially a heavy layer of dust on the tableware, which looked like it had never been wiped down, and noticeable dust on some of the light fixtures as well. One of the pillows had a distinct smell of urine; you couldn't smell it when lying flat, but it was very noticeable when sleeping on your side. Housekeeping definitely needs improvement, particularly when it comes to attention to detail.

The room was quite decent in size by Hong Kong standards. The facilities are indeed a bit dated, but it didn't really affect the overall comfort. The pool has a fantastic view, surrounded by mountains. Just a heads-up: the airport shuttle was already fully booked by the time we checked in.

Convenient for shopping and country parks. The food and hygiene were great, and the toiletries were high quality. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the kids loved it. We will definitely come back again.

The room is comfortable and clean, and the surrounding environment is pleasant. It's a great place to stay for a night after visiting Disneyland for the day. Just remember, if you miss their free shuttle after watching the Disneyland fireworks at night, you can take a public bus directly there. There's also a 7-Eleven nearby for convenience. If you book a sea view room, you can really wake up to a beautiful view of the sea in the morning. If you have some time, you can also take a stroll around the town.

Excellent! This has officially become my favorite hotel in Hong Kong at this price point, especially for Disneyland annual pass holders. I just wish the shuttle service could be extended to align with the fireworks display. They also have a shuttle to West Kowloon, which was super convenient as I picked up my M+ annual pass there. I'll definitely be staying here again next time. For dining, you can take a bus to Discovery Plaza – lots of restaurants there, and it's super chill with many dogs around!
