The hotel does its job adequately with no surprises. Rooms are pretty large for Hong Kong at this price point and it’s conveniently located near exit C quarry bay station. A few refreshes are definitely needed in a certain areas : TV should be replaces with one that has smart functions or supports screen mirroring, carpets hide a lot of dirt and should be replaced with modern floor boards. Suggest everyone to bring their own toiletries as almost none is provided.

Actually it's my second time here and the experience is not as much as the first time but it's still recommendable. Maybe they're just renovating that's why the cleanliness is not maintained.

The hotel is quite central in location. There’s Starbucks next to it. However there are a lot of stairs and is not accessible to individuals who could use ramps, like travellers with large suitcases or disabled. There’s steps leading to the check-in lounge, steps to go up to the lifts and from the lifts on each floor to the rooms. The room is clean and of a good size. However, mine is right next to the main road and is very noisy. At night, there’s a low ringing noise that came in every 10s - I couldn’t get a good night sleep at all. The housekeeping is ok - but they missed some items after they cleaned up the room - they did not replenish the slippers, the toothbrushes, and the bath essentials. One of the towels had a lipstick mark on it. I had to go to the front desk to get them, but the front desk is very helpful. On the last day when I wanted to check out, the front desk personnel is missing and I had to wait about 15min for the person to return.

Out of the HK hotels I've tried, this has been the best so far. Located on the waterfront and a short walk from Fortress Hill metro. Huge deep soaking tub. Spacious room for HK standards. Sauna and steam room in locker room. Gym was a little small. Big beautiful pool that offers view of Victory Harbor. Great place to relax and soak up the city views.

We visited from Melbourne, Australia, with my young adult daughter and her partner. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to Aqualuna NYE Fireworks, which was a 5mins drive by taxi. It was a pleasant surprise for us to find such lovely rooms, unique decor, creative usage of space. We stayed at 5 different 5-star hotels during this visit so we can experience different locations and regretted we didn't spend more nights at East HK. We highly recommend this hotel, its also next to one of the largest shopping malls.

Rooms are ok, it’s a bit tiny and you can see the room is a bit old. But it is a budget hotel so you can really ask for much. Staff are amazing. They are very helpful. The only amenities that you got given was a flip flop and one set of toothbrush with a tiny tube of toothpaste which you will finished it in just one brush. Although you can ask for more, but it is just sensible if they give you more from the beginning. Location is ok, a bit far but it is just next to the mtr so this makes traveling to places easy. Overall, I would book it again as its not that expensive. It outweighs the problems.
