New Cottage

Very nice and comfy place to stay in Honfleur, 10 mins walk to the city town with a lot of nice restaurants. The host was very helpful and friendly, wonderful breakfast, I would love to recommend to others.

From the first minute we met Eric our short trip started. The host understands the art of make people feel at home! Beautiful building, private parking... all perfect. Excellent breakfast, not a buffet but with grace being served to your table. The location and room was perfect! 7 minutes walk to a Beach Bar and 10 minutes walk to the centre of Honfleur. We booked the first night of our French touring holiday in the smallest room, Lana, at New Cottage. Welcomed by host Eric with a glass of local cider, the property is beautiful and our room had everything we could need even bathrobes, slippers and pool towels. Breakfast on the terrace had a gorgeous selection of homemade yoghurt and preserves and Eric persuaded us to try a variety of local cheeses which we enjoyed. The care and attention to detail Eric and his family have put into their property is wonderful. We were so grateful for guidance on restaurants in busy Honfleur and local places to visit, we will always fondly remember this first night of our holiday. We look forward to returning one day. Secure parking, 15 minute walk into Honfleur, quiet, 10 minute walk to beach.

A gem of a place to stay. Only 5 bedrooms and as far from a corporate experience as you can get! The rooms are very tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. Our bathroom had a bath as well as shower. The garden is lovely, with a small, well heated pool. Eric’s welcome and help while we stayed was much appreciated. Breakfast was vast and delicious. Honfleur centre was close enough to walk to (but far enough away to ensure tranquility!).

An intimate 5 room hotel in Honfleur. Beautiful setting, beautiful rooms and shared spaces. We were greeted by Eric and meant to feel very welcome. The breakfasts are delicious, fresh and curated to your exact requests. The location is perfect. It is far enough from town to be quiet but only a short walk to Honfleur’s bustling downtown. We truly had a perfect stay there and will be back.

Beautiful room and grounds with a most excellent host, Eric. We felt so welcome and comfortable at New Cottage and the homemade breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend for those looking for a peaceful getaway.

Everything was over the top! The cleanliness, shower, bed, bedding, breakfast, but most of all our host, Eric, was so welcoming! He really is delightful!

The is a perfect place to stay, the house and garden are very beautiful and close enough to walk into the centre of Honfleur. The welcome we had was so lovely, greeted with a delicious glass of local Cider. Eric really went out of his way, from sorting out the best local restestants for us to eat & lots of good local knowledge. The rooms are beautifully decorated, beds sre soo comfy and it was spotlessly clean. Great to have private parking too.
