There are also 3 dogs and hen house.The Wrangler Outlaw Suite is 625 square feet including 14’ tall ceilings. There is a queen size log bed, hydro massage tub, and luxury walk in shower. Additional beds include an extra high air mattress and pull-out couch mattress. Amenities include mini frig, microwave, coffee maker (drip and Keurig), Smart TV for your personal streaming accounts, and WiFi. This unit has a combination griddle and grill for outside cooking. Items included with your stay on the ranch include viewing of animals from fence line, private 5k (3.1 mile) hiking route including Indian mounds & rock out croppings, deer shed hunting, morel mushroom hunting, and fire pit. Private hiking trail is not available during deer hunting season.Ranch activities available for fee include horse back riding lesson, property tour by motor vehicle, and branding over open fire. Once you book your lodging, we can send you further details.The lodge is a 3-unit building. It consists of Wrangler Outlaw Suite, Cowboy Retreat (property #2694314), and Bunk House. This small area that includes portions of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois was bypassed by glaciers in the last Ice Age. As a result, the area avoided the flattening effect of glaciers on the land. Glacial runoff created many river valleys, steep hills, and limestone bluffs throughout the region. Hike the trails to on of the largest single room caves in Wisconsin. Close to Larsen UTV Rental and UTV trails . Rent a UTV for $300 or bring your own for $30 for the driver and $10 each passenger. We are also close to fishing.Nice quiet place to relax and unplug from your busy life on a 600 acre farm.We are close to Plum creek public hunting and trout fishing stream. We are about 15 miles from the Mississippi River for boating and fishing. Canoeing rentals are near by as well. You can explore the cave and trails on the farm. We are about 15 miles from Effigy Mounds public hiking trails and about 15 miles from local restaurants. There is a pet fee of $50 per pet. Was voted the BEST Romantic Get-Away in Wisconsin!! The 1954 Red Railroad Caboose provides seclusion on five wooded acres located four miles from the Mississippi River. The Caboose features a conversation area, an updated kitchen, new bath and gas fireplace. A double size futon and set of bunk beds provide sleeping for up to four people. Relax on the outside deck or in the hot tub while surrounded by nature at it's best.Enjoy all the activities which nature provides, including trout fishing within walking distance. Local dining is plentiful and casual with the well known Great River Roadhouse overlooking the Mississippi River only a fifteen minute drive away.Sit in the cupola of the caboose and read a book or scope out the wildlife from the wrap around view. Pets: Pets are accepted with an additional, non-refundable charge of $40 payable at time of reservation. Pets may not be left along in the Caboose or on the property.Guest Clean Up: Bed linens and bath towels are provided. Prior to 11:00am check out guests are required to clean the caboose and leave it in the same condition as check-in. All Trash must be removed and put in trash container on deck..
