Baba Boutique House Langkawi is, without exaggeration, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment I stepped in, it didn’t feel like a hotel — it felt like a warm, stylish home that genuinely cares about its guests.
The lobby itself is amazing: beautifully designed, cosy, and full of life. There’s a pool table, board games, and plenty of comfortable seating areas where you can just relax, chill, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to hang out instead of rushing back to your room.
One of my favourite highlights has to be the three adorable resident cats 🐱. Every morning when I stepped out of my room and every time I came back from my outings, they were there — playful, calm, and an absolute joy to be around. It added such a personal, homely touch to the entire stay.
Another huge plus: all drinks at the bar are complimentary, and breakfast is complimentary too — something you rarely see, and it makes the stay feel incredibly generous and thoughtful.
But what truly sets Baba Boutique House apart is the staff. Their service is nothing short of impeccable. Every single staff member made me feel genuinely warm and welcome, not in a forced way, but in a sincere, caring manner. They anticipated my needs, checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and went the extra mile to ensure my stay was perfect.
If you’re looking for a place in Langkawi that feels personal, welcoming, relaxing, and truly special — this is it. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to stay here again, and I’ll be recommending Baba Boutique House Langkawi to everyone I know.

SSpectRe44The host Didi and his wife were very helpful! Explained everything about Langkawi and answered all of our questions. Nice breakfast. Also want to mention strategic location of this Lodge since it’s almost close to everything useful on the island: airport, beaches in the east with some nice restaurants (seafood in particular) and duty free shops as well as beaches in the north (we liked Skull beach very much) and skybridge entertainment. So surely I recommend Ocean Lodge!

GGuest UserA very satisfying experience, worth recommending and sharing with everyone! This is a relatively hidden B&B hotel, which is small but exquisite. There are very primitive villas and modern suites. The breakfast is particularly rich. The owner Won and his staff are very enthusiastic and friendly, making people feel the warm and homely feeling from the heart. We spent a happy two-day holiday, which was very unforgettable. I look forward to having the opportunity to meet again!

AALEKSEII liked the hotel and the room. Everything is not new, and it is visible, but everything is taken care of, and it is also visible. Grocery stores are nearby, a good inexpensive cafe is nearby and there is a bike rental without a deposit! The hotel is on the seashore, the sea near the hotel is not suitable for swimming, BUT if you stand facing the sea and go to the right, then, literally, around the corner is a great beach! In the first half of the day the passage is flooded, but it is shallow and you can walk there, and in the second half of the day the sea goes away and the passage opens up on dry land. The only significant drawback is that there is not a single surface in the bathroom where you can put small items. At least nail a shelf above the sink!

ИИрина БуренковаVery nice guesthouse, and nice people work in it., I put 4 stars, because yes, a little far from the center and all the entertainment. But on the other hand, this is only a plus. And to the beach, as to one, then to the other, it is literally 10 minutes to walk. One step away is a self-service laundry. In the immediate vicinity are local cafes, where you can eat deliciously for such ridiculous money! The guesthouse itself is clean, cozy., The staff is sincere and responsive. Whatever you ask, they will help. There is no daily cleaning, but if you ask, they will clean, they will also give you water and tea and coffee. They will help you find your way around the area,,, A very good guesthouse, I think this is a good purchase, based on the choice of price and quality. Now I am in Patong, and I am just crying. I took a hotel 2 times more expensive than in Langkawi. But there are no amenities here at all! In Malaysia, there was always hot water, and a TV with Netflix and YouTube. I recommend this Guest to everyone!!!

GGuest UserThis is a really, really great hotel. I was planning to stay in Langkawi for a month and had driven around checking out hotels one by one before settling on this one. The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly helpful. Even the cleaning staff would enthusiastically gesture to recommend fun places to visit. The room was very clean, and the swimming pool was perfectly usable for swimming. I say this because I encountered some abnormal pools at other hotels, where you could literally dive and hit the opposite wall! This is my honest review.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel from January 26th to February 6th, 2026. The hotel's location is convenient; it's close to the beach, and a leisurely 7-10 minute walk to the Thursday market. If you head towards the main road, there's an eco-market (similar to a discount store back home, but you can find all the essentials and many interesting things – everything costs a fixed 2.8 ringgit).
However, we were unlucky with our room. The owner did apologize, but the TV wasn't working, and there was no kettle, so we had to go to the water dispenser every time we needed hot water. There wasn't even a basic nightstand to put our toiletries on; everything in the bathroom had to sit on the floor. Oddly enough, other rooms seemed to have these amenities, and we didn't book the cheapest room from the list either.
There are many cafes nearby, and a street with shops is also close by. Overall, the hotel is decent, but perhaps only for a 2-3 night stay.

AAnonymous10The receptionists very friendly and helpful. Although he’s not very familiar with the places, attractions around, he still tried his best to assists me. Fyi, the hotel just recently open and he’s not local, he worked in KL before. Cleanliness however needs to be improved.
Hotel very near to Jetty Point & Jetty Marble, 5 mins by car. 15-20mins walk to both Maha Tower (sunset) and Arts Café on the opposite side.
If you go there by Grab, pin location at 71 motel or Rams instead because the hotel is not recorded in Grab yet.
If you are planning to go for Skycab/Skywalk/Skybridge from here, it’s about 42-45mins car ride. Plan wisely.
