GGuest UserI like living in Dongzha, it is quiet and comfortable, the air is good, the scenery is good, the location of the B&B is super good, not far from the entrance of Dongzha, the boss is very nice, pick us up, the B&B is very clean, the window is facing the river, sitting and drinking tea is very leisurely

GGuest UserThis duplex loft was ideal for our family trip, providing separate spaces so we didn't disturb each other, and the soundproofing was excellent. The breakfast was also delicious. We spent our mornings after breakfast exploring the scenic areas. We visited Nanzha, Dongzha, and Xizha, all of which offered unique experiences, and I highly recommend seeing them all. We arrived quite late, around midnight, but after a quick call to the front desk, someone promptly came out to welcome us. The service was outstanding, definitely a five-star experience!

GGuest UserThe room was spotless and well-equipped. The location is fantastic, right next to Gate 2. There's free parking available in the backyard, and a big plus is that the parking spots even have EV chargers (slow charging)! The in-house restaurant on the ground floor is incredibly convenient, offering delicious food at very reasonable prices. The owners and their family are incredibly kind and welcoming; they were so thoughtful, even giving us a box of local specialties when we checked out. They also offered excellent advice for exploring the scenic area and even provided private car pick-up and drop-off to the Dongzha Scenic Area. Overall, our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely wonderful! We highly, highly recommend it!

TTanxinZoneMy first trip to Wuzhen in 2026 is over, and Shuixiangyi was definitely my top choice. It's especially suited for those who prefer peace and quiet, particularly in the morning when there are fewer people – it's really comfortable. It's very close to Lingshui Residence, making it super convenient for the New Year's Eve event, and a quick stroll to enjoy a drink at Sisui Nianhua. The main highlight is the official hotel service – absolutely impeccable! Everyone was so enthusiastic, proactively helping with luggage to and from the room, and providing all sorts of explanations along the way to my room. I had a wonderful time. See you again at the October Theatre Festival!

GGuest UserWu Zhen not too far from Shanghai City.We book a home stay near to the side gate.owner of inn is very welcoming.We had a trishaw ride around the old village outside wuzhen by the owner friend.The uncle is very warm and ride us around the old village .He was our tour guide ,photographer plus bringing us to the small shops outside the village.He introduced us to a riverside eatery where we had lunch and the dishes was delicious with riverside view.We took so many photographs with the different shops.It was a value trip for the trishaw ride.The home stay was pleasant with a very big projector tv screen.Will stay here again if I am at Wu Zhen.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, clean, and dry, and came fully equipped with all the daily essentials. They even thoughtfully provided noise-canceling earplugs in a beautiful little pouch, and a delicate wooden comb. There were two types of slippers: a pair of flip-flops and disposable blue patterned cloth slippers. What's great is that items like the blue patterned cloth slippers, the earplugs in their pouch, the small wooden comb, and the body lotion can be taken home as souvenirs – not just the flip-flops! The large bed was incredibly comfortable, the kind that looks inviting just by glancing at it. The front desk was manned by an older gentleman with glasses who spoke slowly but was very thorough and considerate. This time, our guesthouse booking included morning tea. Since I hadn't booked the 'water morning tea' in advance, the kind gentleman told me we could just have it at the guesthouse, and he'd register it for us, so no need for an online reservation. I took photos of the morning tea the next day – it was very generous, and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband said that out of all our travels, this was one of the most comfortable and satisfying stays we've ever had. To summarize, we were both very pleased and had a wonderful time on this trip to Wuzhen.

GGuest UserFinally, I stayed here on my own. I'd always booked for clients before, but this time, I brought a friend along to experience a river-view room in the heart of Xitang. It was worth the trip.
We also saw the flower boats. There weren't many, only six, but they were perfect for the setting.
Interlude: I asked the landlady to borrow two beautiful fire goblets, and then my friend dropped them on the floor. The first thing the landlady asked was if we had any scratches, and she didn't ask for compensation.

MMiyangdejiyiThe location is fantastic, just a 10-15 minute stroll from Dongzha, Xizha, and Nanzha. The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of restaurants, breakfast spots, coffee shops, pharmacies, small supermarkets, and even massage spas – really convenient! The hotel reception also offers free stamps of Wuzhen attractions, which is a nice touch.
To be honest, I'd never stayed in a guesthouse before, having only experienced 2-5 star hotels for business and leisure. Given that I have no guesthouse comparisons, and considering the price of just over a hundred yuan a night, here’s my review:
First, soundproofing: The sound insulation between rooms and between the hallway and rooms is comparable to a standard hotel. Occasionally, I'd hear cars passing outside, but it wasn't overly noisy or disturbing.
Cleanliness: The bedding was very clean, and as someone with sensitive skin, I had no issues during my three-night stay. The bathroom was also good, even providing disposable toilet seat covers, which is more comprehensive than most hotels!
Service attitude: Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning was prompt. Knowing I was from the north, they reminded me to turn on the air conditioning upon entering the room, but early spring in Jiangnan was surprisingly cold, so I ended up asking for a second duvet on the second day.
Facilities: While it's only a bit over a hundred yuan a night, and considering the accommodation quality, I shouldn't really nitpick, but I do want to mention one minor drawback: there was no place to hang clothes in the bathroom. 😥

AAnonymous UserI visited Nanxiang in early February, and after searching for a while, I settled on Yiheju as there aren't many hotels around.
It's located at the entrance of a residential complex, over a kilometer from the subway station and Impression City, so it's not super convenient. There are a few dining options nearby, which is adequate.
The hotel environment is decent, the room is spacious, and the facilities are relatively new. It also felt quite clean and hygienic. The bed was comfortable.
The bathroom was barely separated between wet and dry areas, but I didn't shower, so I don't have much to say about it.
The Wi-Fi signal was good; I never watch TV anyway. There was heating, which was a plus.
Food deliveries are brought upstairs by a robot, which was convenient.
The price was reasonable, much cheaper than staying in downtown Shanghai.
