Love the overall vibe of this place (I upgraded my room to Mountain View later on and it’s so good). There is also some sound-proof mechanism in the room and I was able to sleep so well ! (much better than when I was in Lhasa despite the increase in altitude). I was able to have great sleep and naps that prepped me very well for the day’s exploration and hiking.
Now I know when I visit here again, there is a very comfortable place to stay (am planning to invite friends from Singapore over next year ::) Huge kudos to Mr Doje for bringing this place into existence in the Himalayas and organizing stargazing event every night. The night sky. What a wonder. I’m grateful to be here.
p.s. Mr Doje is also super welcoming and helped me sorted out many stuff (like contacting ppl to find my traveling pillow & headset that I lost while moving around). Super amazing guy.
p.s. 多吉先生也非常热情,帮我解决了很多事情(打了很多电话帮找我在旅途中丢失了的枕头和耳机)。Super amazing guy.
The owner of this homestay is the leader of the original Tibetan area, so he provided us with very practical information and reasonably planned the itinerary. We were also very lucky to see the clear and complete Rizhao Jinzhufeng. The location of the homestay is in Basong Village, the nearest base camp to Everest. You can see Everest when you go out. The room facilities are very new, the oxygen supply conditions are sufficient, especially the hot water in the room, the water volume is sufficient, the water pressure is large, and it is very comfortable to take a bath after one day. The surprise is that the boss took us to shoot a very shocking starry sky and the Milky Way. I highly recommend this homestay when I come to Everest.

There is currently the only B&B on Mount Everest, a family-style hotel with ******* people who speak English, ******* and Mandarin. The people are very nice. It is right at the foot of Mount Everest. If you want to live on top of Mount Everest to see Mount Everest, this hotel is your first choice. It is much better than the base camp.
When you take the sightseeing bus into the base camp, tell the driver and he will deliver it to the hotel door. The hotel owner will come out to help carry your luggage. They are very warm and friendly. There is a road across the Rongbuk Temple. You can go to the Rongbuk Temple first the next morning or when there are more people on Mount Everest (tickets are required).
We arrived at around 7 o'clock, and the store suggested that we go to the stone monument to take pictures later, because there were a lot of people there at the moment, so we leisurely had a yak hot pot here (you can add any side dishes if you are not full), the three of us ordered I had a hot pot and couldn't finish it. Sweet tea costs 10 yuan per person, and you can drink it as you like. We were just at the foot of Mount Everest, eating steaming yak hot pot, drinking sweet tea, and quietly watching the sun shine on the golden mountains.
The living environment is relatively new, after all, it is newly opened. We booked a triple room and used a public toilet (we thought it would be dirty, like an aqua toilet, but it was surprisingly good, with heating, lighting and ventilation, right in the room) Next door, equivalent to a hotel toilet). The two most important things are floor heating and oxygen supply in the room, so we were able to have a good rest at high altitude.
I went out to take pictures of the starry sky at 1:30 in the middle of the night. There was the Milky Way and I saw shooting stars. I went out to take pictures at the stone monument at around 6 o'clock the next morning and took pictures of the sunrise. In one day, I saw the beautiful Rizhao Jinshan Mountains, the starry sky and the Milky Way, and the sunrise here. I was really satisfied.
When I finally left, you could take a sightseeing bus down the mountain right at the door, and the store would help you carry your luggage, which was a great review.

This well-decorated Tibetan yard, the reception is a Tibetan sister very hospitable, also took us to the Tibetan house to eat, personally buy drinks for the children, let me feel the simplicity and kindness of the Tibetan people.
At the foot of Everest under such harsh natural conditions, it is very good to have such conditions of accommodation. The boss is a local Tibetan. The newly opened store is also very simple. With two children, but enthusiastic, the door is the only way to get through the Everest bus. The boss also helps to contact the bus. It’s very convenient to go on, it seems that they are just doing business, and it will be better in the future.
