A beautiful & well cared for hotel! Staff was amazing the entire stay! Remembered my name and room number when using guest resources! Definitely looking forward to coming back!!

Nice hotel. Full service hotel with a restaurant & bar. The staff was very nice. The rooms were great and had some items which sets them apart including great lighting (usually the lighting in a hotel makes it difficult to see if you’re trying to work), a large tv, and a bathroom with a fan.

Make sure you tell the front desk that you want your room cleaned every day or they will say they don't have the staff to clean and wont' clean your room. They will have you bring your soiled towels to the front desk to get clean towels if you don't have them clean your room every day. It's ridiculous that for the amount you pay that they don't want to clean your room every day. They blame it on COViD. When you tell them they will clean your room and after that it was GREAT. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. From the front desk to the Maintenance personnel they are all helpful and professional. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are nice, clean, and cool in the summer. This was my 3rd stay at this location and the first time they didn't clean my room unless I asked..

People let me tell you, good service only comes from good people. The staff, from the fabulous ladies that keep everything clean to the supervisor Judy and Manager Chrystal. Those two ladies are absolutely amazing! Not only do they make you feel comfortable and make you feel like your in good hands but they also get the job done with actions. They have made my stay here one of the best experiences I've ever had staying at a hotel. I don't have enough words to describe my gratitude for those two ladies. But thank you to them for the amazing job they do. I hope upper management recognizes them like I do because they deserve raises! Can't put a price tag on the service they have provided me.

Excellent service very clean

This is my go to basic hotel. Very reasonably priced. No pool so there are no screaming kids running up and down the halls. Super comfy beds and a nice variety of pillows. Sadly this nice little hotel is starting to show some wear and tear. Scuff marks on the walls. At some point the showers were resurfaced and now that surface is peeling. The corners behind the bathroom door need a serious cleaning. It needs a refresh. The drawer in the credenza would not stay shut. Also this was the first time that I had a problem finding someone at the front desk. When I checked in there was a sign stating I should go around the corner to the laundry room. When checking out the woman that was in the breakfast room came over to print me my bill. I checked in at 2pm which is early. Stated check in is 3pm. The front desk was concerned that there wasn't a room ready at 2pm. I find it hard to believe that every room in this hotel was dirty one hour before check in time. One positive note---this was the first time I have eaten the breakfast. It was quite tasty. Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs. They also offer a variety of muffins and pastries, cereal and of course waffles. I have another stay booked for August. I am hoping they take care of some of the upkeep issues.

Great stop to get a good night sleep no bed bugs !! Has a gas station down the street and not far from the highways and it’s cleaner then the rest of the hotels on Cicero

My husband is traveling across the U.S. for business. I reserved a room on the Red Roof Inn Chicago Joliet website. They offered a Red Hot Deal rate and I reserved that for him, as he would be arriving late and would only be staying the one night. The Hotel website states they are 100% Smoke Free. That is a lie. I called ahead after making the reservation and informed the front desk man that my husband would be arriving between 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. and to please not give his room away. The man stated he would be there at that time and would make note of it. When I spoke again to my husband this morning, he stated that he arrived at 11:00 p.m. and that when he entered his room, it reaked of cigarette smoke and was filthy. He said he asked the man at the front desk if his was not supposed to be a smoke-free room and the man agreed, but said that was all they had available right then. So, my husband, being tired from a long day of driving, went back to the room. He said that the thermostat didn't work in the room and that he tossed and turned but that by 2:30 the heat in the room and the fact that the mattress and bed sheets reached of smoke, he just couldn't take it any more. My husband has a smoke allergy, so this just compounded the problem for him. He gathered his things, approached the front desk at 2:30 in the morning and there was no one around. He left. When we spoke this morning, and told me what had happened, I told him I'd contact them for a refund. After waiting on hold, and speaking with the front desk in Joliet, they patched me through to Guest Relations and they are requiring my husband to call in before they'll issue us a refund, which he will do, but he'll have to make a stop on his trip to do so. I chose this location for my husband because of the great 4/5 reviews on Trip Advisor. Please be aware that this location is not 100% Smoke Free as advertised, is filthy, the Red Hot Deal means you get a smoker room (even though your statement will say Smoke Free) and that they will hassle you over a return - $53.23 with tax.
