Huamao Grand Hotel Hohhot

The lobby is very grand and luxurious. Breakfast is just average, and they clear everything away very promptly, so if you're a few minutes late, there's hardly anything left to eat. They do provide complimentary fruit. The room is a bit small and extremely dry; I woke up with a parched throat every morning. The sink is a bit too high, making it awkward to wash and easily splashing water onto you. The toilet's flush isn't very powerful and tends to clog easily. The trash can next to the toilet should be placed on the right-hand side. Honestly, for an 800-priced 5-star hotel, I don't think it should be at this standard.

Excellent! This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Hohhot! The breakfast was super delicious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bath towels were so soft against the skin. They even offered a complimentary late check-out. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

I stayed for five nights, so I know whether I'm satisfied or not. While a couple of front desk staff weren't as service-minded, Manager Yang Yang was excellent, handling my issues promptly. It was fate that we met. The hotel facilities are new, and the stay was quiet.

This hotel is right across from the City Hall and very close to the Inner Mongolia Museum. The room was clean and the facilities were quite new. The toiletries were decent too. Great value for money, highly recommend!~

Five stars, highly recommend! This stay absolutely exceeded my expectations! The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was blown away. The high ceilings made the space feel grand and bright, and the crystal chandeliers paired with marble flooring gave it a luxurious touch. Even more delightful was the Mongolian-style performance – the soulful melody of the morin khuur (horse-head fiddle) and the singer's vocals created such an immersive atmosphere, instantly transporting me to the grasslands! The refreshments were also incredibly thoughtful, featuring traditional snacks like dairy products and fried millet. Even the tableware was adorned with Mongolian elements, making for fantastic photo opportunities! From the hardware facilities to the cultural details, everything was exceptionally well done. Choosing to stay here in Hohhot was definitely the right decision! I'll be back next time!

The hotel is new and pet-friendly. The staff were very welcoming and helped us with our luggage to the room. There was a song and dance performance in the lobby, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is very convenient, within walking distance of museums and art galleries.

I have to commend the service at this hotel! From the moment I walked in and someone helped with my luggage, to the front desk patiently answering all my questions, every staff member greeted me with a smile. A special thank you to Green, who went above and beyond to help me out when I forgot my charger – that really made me feel taken care of. The facilities are great too, but the service is definitely the biggest highlight.
