La Vela Saigon Hotel

Only stayed for one night and didn't have time to use the pool, which was a shame. I did get to see it though, and the view was great; it looked like a perfect place to relax. The hairdryer in the room was a bit disappointing – it seemed to have a loose connection as I had to hold the plug in place with one hand to use it. Other than that, the room was clean.

The rooftop view at La Bella is just lovely. Enjoy the city view during off-peak hours when the sun isn't as strong. I visit every year. Also, grab some pho from Pasteur nearby!

Our family of four stayed for two nights and it was pretty good. Clean and comfortable, and the location was also fine. The rooftop pool is beautiful and spacious 😍. Having a couple of drinks by the pool at night was really chill 🍻.

I’ve never stayed in such a terrible hotel! Don't fall for it! We booked for May 2nd-5th, 3 nights for 2331 RMB, which is 777 RMB per night. Around 2 AM on May 3rd, after a tiring red-eye flight, we checked into the hotel. The moment I walked into the room, I was stunned! It was completely different from the pictures. The bathroom wasn't separated for wet and dry areas, and most importantly, there was no shower!! We went downstairs to the front desk to ask for a room change. The staff member had a bad attitude, refused to change our room, saying the hotel was full, and even showed us the room type link. It was almost 3 AM by then, so we decided to just tough it out and get some sleep without showering. The room's layout was ridiculous: the bed faced the bathtub directly, the air conditioner blew right onto our heads, three room doors were connected, and the soundproofing was awful. At around 4 AM, cutlery was collected from outside our door, our neighbors opened their door after 7 AM, before 9 AM there was a banging noise upstairs, and the neighbors started singing after breakfast. When you're traveling, rest is the most important thing. Everyone, please don't be fooled! There are so many recommendations for this hotel on Xiaohongshu, talking about the rooftop infinity pool. When you can't even get a wink of sleep, who cares about a pool! Unable to bear it any longer, we decided to switch hotels! We contacted Trip.com to negotiate a cancellation and refund, but the hotel was unyielding and refused to refund. We just packed our bags and moved to another hotel. The manager tried to forcibly stop us from leaving, saying we wouldn't get a refund if we left. Thanks to Trip.com for helping us resolve this. When traveling abroad, always trust Trip.com!
