Everything is just very good

Next to the Kuma River, you can see the Kuma River from the room. The room was also very comfortable.

The hot spring hotel is close to Hitoyoshi IC and Hitoyoshi Station. There is a fresh food supermarket opposite, which is very convenient. The environment is very good. The Kuma River flows right under the window and it is very close to the Hitoyoshi Castle ruins. The room facilities are old, the bathrobes provided are not cotton, the hotel service staff are enthusiastic and the explanations are clear and concise.

The toothbrush bristles were a little hard. I would have liked a urethane mattress (folded in three or four?) for the futon. The single mattress was too hard. I wish there was a larger sign informing guests to turn the refrigerator on each time they needed to be turned on.

I was a little disappointed that the room was completely different to the photo. Also, when I stayed at a nearby inn before, they offered free drinks, so I assumed they would offer the same here, but they didn't 😢 I regret not buying drinks. There was no face wash in the hot spring either, so I had to get back in my clothes and go back to the room to get some.

Very good hotel, with a river behind and a supermarket in front. The hot springs are small but nice, with an outdoor pool. The door leads to a small path with Natsume's lantern paintings at night.

The staff were very friendly and I was able to spend a good time. It was my first time at Hitoyoshi Onsen, but the spring quality was just what I wanted, and the lukewarm water made my skin happy. The Kuma River flows right in front of the hotel, and I was able to take a walk around nearby places like Sengetsu Sake Brewery and Hitoyoshi Castle. When I arrived, there was a complimentary drink in the lobby, and there was also a space to relax with alcohol or soft drinks before dinner, so I felt like I got a little something extra.

The hotel is a very traditional hot spring hotel, which is very suitable for checking in and staying in Hitoyoshi as Natsume's Book of Friends. The small street directly opposite is Kagyecho where "Tateyama Shoten" is located. The rooms are very spacious and Western-style. The breakfast buffet and set menu are all very good, including the specialty honeydew melon. Facing the Kuma River, the ruins of Hitoyoshi Castle are across the river, and the scenery is beautiful!

hmm.. This hotel has a modern large public bath. I recommend spending more money and going to a traditional ryokan if possible. When I went to the public bath in the morning, they cleaned it. There was no prior notice

The hotel is conveniently located, with a supermarket opposite. The decoration of the room we stayed in was relatively old, but overall it was clean and tidy. The room faces the Renji River. The sound of the river water is loud, so it is not suitable to open the window.
