奥多摩の山中に佇む山城さん、南北朝時代からの歴史を刻む風情溢れる素晴らしい古民家宿です。1日1組限定の贅沢な実質貸切で、周囲に他の建物もなく静寂の中で他の宿泊客に気兼ねなくのんびりと穏やかな時間を過ごせます。 日本家屋の趣をそのまま残した客室は清潔で洗面やトイレは古材を活かして綺麗にリフォーム。お風呂は温泉ではなく鉱石泉ですが、体の芯までとてもよく温まりました。 楽しみの食事は、地元の食材をふんだんに使って丁寧に作られた絶品料理の数々。他では味わえない独特で珍しい一品もあり、目も舌も楽しんで大満足。地酒もたっぷりご用意されていて最高の時間を過ごせました。締めの釜飯は具材つっぷりでこれまたうまし！ 何より終始にこやかで温かいご主人の抜群のホスピタリティに心が和み、最高のリラックスタイム。料理、部屋、お風呂、接客のすべてに大満足です。日々の喧騒を忘れ、心身ともにリフレッシュしたい時に心からおすすめしたい名宿です
