Rooms have a nice old world charm. Dinner (we had the French one) was very good. Soup, fish, palate cleanser, steak, and dessert were all tasty and fresh. Wine selection could have been a bit better but wasn't bad at all. Onsen is nice: they have the public onsen and private rooms. Each room is different, so try to get the one at the end of the corridor (it has an open air section) if you can. Otherwise the public onsen is really great too. A slightly long walk to the ropeway station up to Asahidake for my kid. But loved it overall!

Hot spring is good, but there are no restaurants located nearby for dinner, remember to order the dinner from hotel

The concierge service was excellent. Despite her difficulty in expressing her help in English, she went out of her way to answer our queries, as well as working with kitchen to prepare a nice dinner for us despite us not having pre-ordered any. There is also free ramen for supper from 10pm-1030pm at night for guests who feel hungry. And the best part was the mountain view being extremely beautiful.

Located beside the Asahidake Camp bus stop. Lack of food options nearby at night so take the Dinner option if required. Dinner provided was decent. Onsen was comfortable. Slight sulfuric smell in the room when using the heater.

My favorite hotel on this trip! The breakfast is delicious, the room is comfortable, and the hot spring is great! The autumn colors around are so beautiful. It happened to be sunset that day, and the light in the room was very beautiful. Coupled with the retro and exquisite tea sets and coffee machines, it seems like traveling through time. I like it very much!
