I stayed in a room on the 9th floor of the silver ridge. I thought it was a good inn to have you get a hand towel by the shuttle car at Inatori Station. I thought, but I was disappointed. Check-in was over at 13:30, but wait in the lobby until 14:00. There is no welcome drink while waiting. At 14:00, when you enter the room, you will be guided all at once. Take your luggage and enter the room. The room has a window open bath. Although it has a panoramic view of the sea, the roof of the entrance building is in the way on the west side. Best time ever while i stay in Japanese-style Room with open-air Bath (No.608) which i booked via Japanican.com. Shuttle service, staff, amenities, room and food was really great. Impressive outdoor onsen in room with sea view, huge and delicious breakfast and dinner with service from Obachan made me feel like going back home and having meal made by mom.

This used to be our favorite summer spot. We'd return at least once a year, for perhaps 4-5 years in a row. However, we hadn't been back for quite a long time. This is what I learned on our most recent visit: The hotel room (I think we had a ”Hollywood Standard Twin) was quite spacious. The beds were large and comfortable, and there is a nice-sized balcony with a generous ocean view. I see some other reviews on Tripadvisor calling the rooms ”old and smelly” -- this has never, ever been my experience, not once. The room seemed exactly as it was over 10 years ago, but that's fine. The colors are soft, muted ”beach” colors and we were very comfortable. On our first night we ate at the ”Melesea” restaurant, which serves French cuisine. We chose the ”Demi portion” course, which was about 9,000 yen (about $62USD with today's exchange rate). We chose it because it wasn't as high priced as some of the other course meals and the portion sizes sounded right for us. There is no question that the ”Demi portion” course was one of the best I've ever had in my life. The chef (Mr. Ohki) is obviously a professional who really understands how to bring out the delicate flavors of any dish, and he is a master at preparing sauces. Everything that was served was outstanding. No, we didn't want to pay that much money per person, but ultimately we made the right choice. We both were extremely impressed. The above two things, plus generally good weather, added up to a good experience. Here, though, are things that you should be aware of: This is essentially a family hotel. That means if you are coming here for peace and quiet, and you make the mistake of coming on a weekend or a national holiday, you can expect lots of screaming children running with abandon down the hallways and fussing in the restaurants and everywhere else. Japanese parents tend to indulge and spoil their little ones. And forget about using the pool, since that's where parents will be staked out the first thing in the morning. If you are a parent, you might find this to be the perfect hotel. If you aren't, and you do not enjoy the boundless energy and noise of children, you will be sorry you booked a room here. So, think carefully about the dates you arrive and leave. As for prices: Although you can get a ”Tokyu Hotel” member card, and although you can find online promotions, the way the hotel makes its money is through its dinners. You are going to pay a lot for them, although there is effort put into them, so, you do feel you are having an ”experience.” But they do not come cheaply. Also, if you don't book your room with breakfast, expect to pay ¥2900 for a ”buffet breakfast.” If you are Japanese, you will love this breakfast; if not, you will find an adequate selection of items for a Western breakfast. But what if you want to go ”out to eat” at night, instead of paying between 10-20,000 yen for a meal? Good luck. Unless you have your own car (and I'd say about 90% of the customers

Beyond my psychological expectations, the hotel is by the sea, and the windows look out to enjoy the superb sea view! The hotel room is a typical Japanese-style room. The room is large in size, and the bathroom vanity bathroom is also isolated. The facilities are not bad. The second floor of the hotel is a spa, indoors and outdoor. The hot springs are open until 24 pm, so don't worry about missing them. We have almost no one to go to the 10 o'clock, and the experience is great!

The property has amazing ocean views high on an outcropping, but none of the rooms with an ocean view have a balcony, except the very edge of the east wing. Wonderful gardens with a path lading down to a small beach that isn't too noteworthy. The rooms have been updated since the construction and are pretty good overall. The pool was closed in June, which was pretty disappointing, especially as the beach is below par. The onsen facilities met expectation. The beds are firm, which I loved, but not everyone likes a firm mattress. The hotel operates a bus service to pick up guests from the train station twice an hour from 9-5pm. If you are doing dinner out in the town or drinks in the evening, you have to grab a taxi back as the walk is a bit of a hike. The hotel staff are very friendly and kind, the concierge knows the area and has great recommendation for activities...wonderful and friendly people. The hotel restaurant serves a nice mostly Japanese breakfast (as expected) with local delicacies, wide range of teas, coffee and juice as well as a great selection of breads and fresh fruit. The hotel restaurant for dinner is average. Our group ordered a range of items off the menu and no one was terribly impressed. The lone stand out was the French Onion soup, packed with flavor, though a bit light on the cheese. Would stay here again if the price was right, was able to get rooms at a discount on this stay as it was rainy season.

The pool is also available at a discount price and full of elements that can be enjoyed quite. The room chose a large room with a veranda, but it may be good to be far from the main building and narrow. I was at the day trip hot spring hall and tried to use it open-air. It is not cheap, but you can relax with your family. The zashiki is also large. However, there is nothing to bring food and drink (with a refrigerator). The public bath is a great view open-air bath as well as a day trip. It becomes a little narrow version. It is a great view whenever you go.

Love the view of the hotel, room is the typical Japanese style tatami and I love it so much. Traveller can enjoy the coffee and microwave which are located in the lobby.
