I stayed twice in one week, two separate rooms. Total of three night. Both beds were like iron - normal i think for Premier. I travelled with business it was handy for my work location, and the company paid - as at £100 min. a night B&B i wouldn't, its far too expensive. The first night i arrived about 17.30 and another night by 19.00. The car gets full, proving its a popular location - for tradesmen travelling with vans. The folk on the desk were super friendly and helpful. The eatery to which this is attached is like a Toby without the big food. The atmosphere was let down by the staff who were on edge as it appeared they were being scrutinized by their management, some sort of boxing ticking exercise. They were obliged to run through a series of questions each time you approached a member of staff to order. After receiving my order and before i could put food in my mouth i was asked if everything was alright, followed up less than a minute later with the same question. I choose ham and eggs and chips and i didn't enjoy it. All in all, there are better options and cheaper elsewhere.
