This hotel is beautiful! We loved staying here for a night in March. The included breakfast was one of the best I had while visiting Finland. It had a great selection of fresh food and the dining area was nice. Our sauna in our room was the major reason I booked this hotel, and it was well worth it. Even though it was winter and snowing outside, the balcony was a great feature. After having the sauna on for a while, the room got pretty hot, so I got to open the doors and feel the icy air come into the room. So relaxing. One thing that got old was the videos of the other resorts on repeat in the elevator and dining area. We loved the Sami music playing in the room upon check in though. It was a great touch.

The hotel is not in the city center but it takes more than 20 minutes by bus, opposite is the forest. The room is on the first floor, the windows can be locked, there is no kettle, it may be borrowed at the front desk, the room is not large, the water heater may not be the conventional method of opening and closing, so I do n’t know if the phone came in at night and asked if I knew the front desk number Is n’t that because they do n’t use this water heater ... Breakfast is good and the sun is plentiful.

This is an excellent hotel in all respects. The first room we were given was a little small, with an uninspiring view over the internal courtyard, but when we expressed our disappointment at reception, we were moved to a larger room with a view over Helsinki Cathedral. My elderly father was also given a free upgrade to a room more suited to his mobility problems, all this thanks to the kindness and efficiency of the receptionist Anita McRae, who also gave us some very useful practical tourist advice. There is both a sauna and the gym and three lifts so you never have to wait too long. The hotel beds were super comfortable and the rooms fully soundproofed. Each room had a good iron and ironing board, which was very useful. The hotel is in a perfect position just five minutes walk from the main railway station and near to all the major sights. It is also very close to numerous restaurants, and dinner at the hotel restaurant itself was good. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Only a couple of very small negative points: there is not much storage space in the wardrobes and the windows could do with a clean. The restaurant also closed a little early. Otherwise an all-round very positive experience.

The hotel is very good. There is a tram at the door. The room is a prison renovation. Many famous prisoners are being held. The hotel also sells nearby goods! Focus! Must eat breakfast. Breakfast is a mess.
