We stay here for 4 nights with a group of friends. It is not far from Interlaken West station (lee than 10 minutes walk) It has nice room, comfy bed but a little soft and fluffly pillow. The location is quite good, near supermarket and restaurants. Nice staff. Very good breakfast. It provide a lot of amenities with 2 bottles of mineral water everyday. Also have common room for guest's leisure and have some snacks.

The service is average, the room is average, it's a bit unbearable without air conditioning, it's very close to the building next door, I don't feel safe, it's located in the center of the West Railway Station, I probably won't stay here next time. The attic room on the third floor is a little bigger, but the layout is weird.

Spiez is a pretty town and this is a pretty hotel. We travelled as a family and had two adjacent rooms. Our purpose was to take part in the triathlon in Thun and it’s very hard to get hotel rooms so we were lucky and had the last two rooms, facing the street rather than the lake, but we could go to the roof terrace to relax and enjoy the view. It was quiet and comfortable, the food was very good (the owners are Italian and Swedish) and the staff are very friendly.

The cleanest hostel you can imagine. Everything in the kitchen and bathroom are tidy and clean. Not the best pillow you want but I brought it myself so it didn't affect me. The room is really warm that I didn't have to cover myself even it is -3 outside. It is in good shape that you won't have to walk shoulder to shoulder. Everyone have their own locker that can easily fit my 30L backpack. However, there are only one EU socket in the room. It provides one USB A socket and a wireless charging rack for each bed but I don't think it is enough for people having laptop. Some of the wireless charger are also shaky so not the best place for you to put your phone on. The location is really good too, only 3 to 5 minutes to Interlaken West station and 15 to 20 minutes walk to Interlaken Ost (East). Breakfast is average, not the best for budget travellers. COOP half-price food cost much less if you are not that picky.

To be honest, the hotel is worth the price. It is a monument renovated in itself. There are still many people who come to visit. It is the commanding height of Tuen, and you can see the snow-capped mountains and the whole city. There are a few points of Ctrip and reviews that seem to be not mentioned: 1. Arriving at the hotel, you need to take the elevator or climb ten floors on foot. 2. Located in the center of the old city, it is not convenient to drag the suitcase. It is a stone road and uneven. I am single travel, the transportation is mainly train, so I am very tired to drag the suitcase to the neighborhood. I am stupid before the steps that can't see the end. I asked the local talents to know that the elevator from the nearby parking lot can be directly reached (-7 floor to 3 floor) breakfast is ordering. The menu is German, the waiter is old and not enthusiastic. It is best that you can eat bread without ordering. I ordered fried eggs, juice and coffee, cheese and stew with my mobile phone translation software. The dining environment is very good, suitable for net red photos. The room facilities are average, the things are well hidden, you have to find them carefully, but you can still stay for one night, the bed is soft.

This review was written by my 8-year old daughter: About this hotel: It is a family hotel. If you are a kid, the first thing they are going to do is give you a teddy bear. It has a swimming pool and a gym. The swimming pool is really cool and it has a small waterfall built into a rock. The gym is quite big itself but we didn't go there. It has a nice view and a nice hotel restaurant. The food is really good and they have a really great breakfast. You order the main food and you get to choose the side dishes from a breakfast bar. For the main food, I picked omelet - it is quite yummy but it was not salty enough. For the side dishes, I picked cereal, kiwi and juice. They were all really yummy and sweet. You should go to Dorint. I give this hotel a five star review. -- From the parents' side a few additional notes: On the negative side - There is no AC in the apartment, so while this may not matter in the summer, it was quite warm during our visit (30-35C). It cools off nicely in the evening, but there are no screens on the window, so you'll likely end up with a few moths or other bugs in the room if you leave the windows open. On the positive side, they really cater well to families - from the teddy bear at check-in to a little board game on the back of the kids menu, to the small playground area (which seemed to be good for 4-6 year olds). I see other negative reviews about this hotel and I agree with them and I was aghast that this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel? It is more like a hostel. True, it is conveniently located near the train station and that is its only redeeming feature. The twin room where we stayed reminded me of the student accommodation many many years ago where I stayed at the University of Montpellier in France: spartan. The Hey hotel had a set of planks put together which supposedly should be a table, but there was no chair whatsoever; no closet; no air conditioned (fortunately in our room there was a small stand up fan that gyrates), a small mirror and a standard bathroom. There is a phone and a flat screen TV. Also, a cockroach was seen in the premises. Not recommended.

Our 1st impression of Hotel Krebs was great! Reception was warm & explained in detail the hotel policies. Our room gives us a feel as though we are living in the lap of luxury! The perfect blend of size & style, we are amazed with their spaciousness & exquisite decor. They provide bedroom slippers provided, toothbrush, shaver & cream, cotton pad, safe, hair dryer, etc. These advanced amenities definitely make our stay nothing short of perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much! The location of the hotel was awesome. It's just a few minutes walk to the Interlaken West Station. There's also many different buses u can take to many different beautiful attractions like Lake Brienz. I have seen many reviews about the cheese fondue from their restaurant. We tried it too & was so in love with it. As we brought our 3.5yrs old child along, we can only have cheese fondue without alcohol. We replaced it with apple juice at an additional cost of 5chf. Indeed food was really good! And the waiters were really kind & friendly. They were very kind & patient with our little girl. She was given colouring materials for entertainment. Thanks to the waiters. We had lots of laughter while enjoying our meals. Oh yes, there's a big fluffy black cat who often patronise the hotel & restaurant. It usually sleeps on the first chair near the left of the entrance. Staff of the hotel & restaurant are really nice, loving little animals & taking care of them very well. Overall, it was a very wonderful experience staying here. We would gladly come back again!
