First of all during this critical moments in the world due to the COVID 19 safety it’s out of great importance! This hotel has it, all personal where wearing masks and everyone is responsible. Very professional and friendly hotel personnel, I had a shower head problem and Hotel tech arrived in a min, replace it in the blink of an eye. I felt welcome safe and take good care of. With this review I would like to thank all the hotel stuff for doing such a great job and hope to see you again on my next booking.

Close Proximity to Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (train station, just approximately 8 minutes walk). I am amazed at the complete furniture, even microwaves to cook our breakfast for the following day. More like an apartment than just a hotel. Nice stay

We traveled by train so this hotel was perfect, very short walk from the main station, maybe 150 feet. We did not know check in was 3:00 so paid 15€ to check in early taking a lesser room for the same price. IBIS allows early check in / late checkout for a 90€ annual fee. Breakfast was basic so we skipped that. Unfortunately McDonalds next door closed about 4 months earlier. As for lunch, the Thai restaurant (Asia Box) in the main station was very good and there is a grocery store in the station too. Our room on the 1st floor was small but clean with 2 beds. The bathroom was very small but this is the only room we saw. Street noise was minimal. Train, tram and bus lines converge here so you cant beat the location. I suspect they have parking for a fee but because we arrived by train, I am not sure.

Newly Opened Hotel with great staff. Prime location, if you are travelling by train. Breakfast was really good, with a wide choice of sausages and cheeses, spreads and cereal. Beds where very good, with hard mattresses (not everyone likes it, but if you have back issues it is the best to sleep hard)! Lighting at the bedhead a bit weird. Design should be rethought. You need two switches to switch that on. Maintenance needed to come by and show me :D :D We are planning a tour along the Neckar for next year and will definetely stay over again.
Our hotel is minutes from the riverfront, multiple transit stops, and Heidelberg’s main attractions. We were so glad to see this fully renovated hotel open in time for our visit to the Heidelberg Christmas Market (original opening date was projected for the end of December). The Hilton Heidelberg is an incredible facility, surpassed only by the amazing team working to provide the best possible experience! We have never been so graciously welcomed by so many on the team, including the General Manager, Remmie. Margarita and Katerina took great care of us during check in and were even able to upgrade us to a Junior Suite - what a welcome surprise! After settling in to our room, we had the pleasure of meeting Lubeth in the Executive Lounge who took care of every need and made us feel so welcome - always with a smile! The management team is definitely committed to hiring the best, but they are also clearly committed to leading by example. Vladimir (the restaurant manager) made a point of introducing himself and checking to be sure we were enjoying our stay and Sonja was so gracious when we were visiting the restaurant. Brent stopped by while we were in the Executive Lounge to be sure we were enjoying our visit and asked if there was anything he could do to help. Tim (a Heidelberg local) took time to share some of his favorite spots around town, as well as the hotel amenities and make sure we made the most of our time in town! I cannot remember another hotel stay where I could name more than 1-2 people on the staff - this team truly made us feel welcomed and valued! Thank you for a such a great experience!

This is a very nice, business traveler type hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean. We had a couple of problems, though: 1) we reserved a room with twin beds, and we were given a room with the beds made up as one king bed—we couldn’t separate them and it was too late to get a different room; and 2) the lights in the hallway on our floor didn’t work until they were able to fix them the next morning (that was worrisome). There was some renovation going on which seems to explain the lighting issue. The hotel was about halfway between the train station and the old town, with a tram stop almost directly in front, so it was very convenient.

The reception was very friendly. The location is about a 20-minute walk from the tourist area, but it is close to the central station where trains to Frankfurt and other areas stop, so it was easy to move around with a suitcase. You order amenities yourself from your smartphone, but it took an hour to get one pair of slippers. Also, the staff other than the reception staff were not very good. There was an a la carte menu in addition to the buffet for breakfast, but it never came (I ended up not eating it).

An old hotel with a sense of history. The breakfast is of good quality. It is quiet and comfortable. The antique shop on the way out is worth visiting. Lao Zhao Noodle House is nearby and is very delicious.

Outstanding
GGuest UserOne of or if not the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Amazing staff who let us store our bags as we arrived early and gave us great recommendations of what to do in town, things we otherwise never would have know about. Location is prime, right in the heart of town and under the Schloss. The hostel is in an odd house and has an extremely warm and homely feeling. Has amazing décor in the common room with old photos of travelers, book swaps and maps showing where past travelers have come from. Kitchen is also great, has many amenities and once again has an awesome feel to it. Bathrooms were of a very high standard. Free breakfast was amazing too. Rooms also has lockers. I would kill to be back here. Would 100% go back to Heidelberg and Lottes.
GGuest UserFortunately, we're able to cancel our reservation, literally the last minute for free. The hotel staff was really unprofessional, unfriendly, and unhelpful upon our arrival. One of the ladies behind the check in counter barely spoke English. We had to wait 30min before our rooms would be ready, she did not offer us to put away our luggage (after I asked we were shown in the o the storage room, nobody helped us carry the bags..ans the room was left with the door open and without any surveillance from the staff). There was no clean glasses by the water container. As we sat on the hotel restaurants terrace to wait, nobody came to ask whether we wanted anything to dirnk. We then went to check out the roof top terrace. It was dirty, full of dried leaves... No access to wc. After these few disappointing experiences within 30min upon our arrival, we decided to give friendly feedback to the staff and see our options for cancelation, especially if we're not offered a proper excuse and/or upgrade. We were told that they're very busy and that that's the reason they can't deliver good service (note: their main job in this industry is to serve their guests, us, thus). WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE, BOTH AT THE CHECK IN COUNTER, AS WELL AS RESTAURANT AND ROOFTOP. Very happy with our decision to cancel this reservation and to have found a much better place to stay in the town center (Qube Bahnstadt was really far from the old town).
CcclantianHotel front desk service is very good. It is a very old hotel, the key we used feels like the 18th century. Most rooms have terraces. It feels like a typical German country-style hotel with a good view around. It is about 10 minutes drive from the King Lake boat ride and about 30-40 minutes walk.
The bed is soft and the bathroom is small.
GGuest UserWow. What a beautiful hotel with the nicest and most helpful staff I think I have ever met. So we were actually meant to be staying in an apartment in Heidelberg but the owner got in touch a few days before to say that there was an issue with it and can we stay in their sister hotel the BS boutique. We knew there had been lots of flooding the weeks before and I’m not sure if that is why but as we were offered a free breakfast and a partial refund we didn’t want to cause any stress so we accepted the hotel. Very glad we did as it was stunning and super clean with fantastic staff. Everything in this hotel is quality. The doors and windows had amazing sound proofing. Totally quiet at night and the comfiest beds and pillows. A big thank you for making our trip to Heidelberg special. It’s a beautiful city.
The Atlantic hotel is a very good hotel. The rooms are nice, big and modern. The personnel is very friendly. I personally enjoyed the rich breakfast. Many options with a very high quality. From my perspective the breakfast was really worth the money. (Not expensive)
GGuest UserFairly mixed feelings about our stay in the hotel. Upon arrival after a long journey I was surprised to learn that our 3 night stay and breakfast and parking must be paid in full (despite my credit card details being shared upon booking). That didn’t feel particularly welcoming. The hotel is in a good location for the old town. That said each nights sleep was heavily disrupted by the noise outside from traffic and people shouting etc. The breakfast is extremely average. Those looking for a hot breakfast will be disappointed to be faced with scrambled egg, boiled carrots (!), poultry sausages. No bacon, beans, fried tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns etc. The bread rolls are cheap pre-baked. The fitness room is a tiny room not worth venturing to. Free weights up to 10kg! Room the size of an old fashioned airing cupboard. The staff at the hotel are friendly and nice. Heidelberg is beautiful. We had a lovely time. But I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. There are much nicer hotels in Heidelberg..!
IT IS A REGRET TO BOOK FROM THIS HOTEL. Since I wanted to celebrate my birthday in Heidelberg, a city I really want to visit, I made a reservation at this hotel to stay for 2 nights between 7-9 March. I was going to come to Germany either by plane from outside European countries. On March 7, there was a strike in Germany and the airports were closed. It was notified by the airline company on March 6 that our flight was canceled. We immediately informed the hotel about the situation and asked them to postpone our visit to April 7-9 and transfer the fee to this date, but they stated that the strike was not their problem and took the hotel fee for 2 nights from our credit card. Strike is an essential situation. In legal terms, this is called FORCE MAJEURE – “a common clause in contracts that essentially relieves both parties of liability or liability in the event of an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, or war.” In case of force majeure, standard procedures cannot be applied. The hotel guest is not responsible and cannot be punished. The Mille Stelle City hotel, which turned the strike into an opportunity, charging for a service it did not provide does not comply with business ethics and is a shameful situation. Although accommodation cannot be made due to force majeure, the fee collected from the guest is not a fair gain. It is against consumer rights and even human rights. My flight was canceled due to the strike in Germany, I could not enter the country, the hotel canceled my reservation and charged the fee. Moreover, despite all my communication efforts, they were treated indifferently, saying ”the strike is not my problem”. Our emails were not answered. Not only could I not celebrate my birthday, but I was also unfairly victimized. It was a birthday I will never forget in my life. If you do not want to regret it, never book this hotel, which does not have well-intentioned management. I made my complaints about the hotel through different institutions. And I will continue my complaints and articles about this hotel on every platform until I get my justice.
韦韦Maintenance is underway near the railway station. In the past, the hotel had to cross a small bridge;
The room is more spacious. Compared with the hotels in Frankfurt, the heating in the room is sufficient. The front desk of the hotel has bread and coffee every day, which can be taken for free. The croissants are delicious;
The hotel breakfast is 10EUR/person, which is not suitable for the Chinese stomach and the variety is barren; there is a dining cart on the road in front of the hotel, and the roasted chicken legs are not bad, 2 euros apiece.
Overall recommendation.
GGuest UserNice, small, simple hotel with very clean and spacious rooms. The reception is occupied from 15 - 19 a.m. with a very nice and extremely helpful young lady. Outside these times, contact with the staff is made by phone, but we didn't have to use it, because everything was in good condition. In addition, there are also contactless possibilities for check-in and check-out (e.g. electronic check-in terminal). We had booked two rooms (double and three-bed rooms). The very spacious double room was marked with very interesting ”Winter garden”-flair through a series of roof windows was equipped with a small kitchen, but we did not try it except for the coffee machine. Unfortunately, it was a little cold in the room as the heating did not entirely warm the whole volume. In the three-bed room our children had been in the room. Also here there was enough room and a coffee machine. The hotel is located near a train station. From there you are in a few stations at the Bismarck Square and can actually discover all Heidelberg conveniently. For cars the city is rather nothing. Also around the hotel are parking defects. The accommodation has just two guest parking places, each for €14 per day. According to the reception, a temporary parking card would also be for the respective city area for €10 per day available. That's why we didn't care. In the immediate vicinity there is a pizzeria ”Da Baggio” that looks very comfortable but probably is also well frequented. In any case, there was no place for us spontaneously. A few meters away, but still walking well to reach, the pizzeria is ”Da Vinci”. Prices are high, but the food is very delicious. For saving guests there is also a bridge service nearby.
GGuest UserThis hotel is in an historic building. The ceilings are high and our room was a deluxe double and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of foods--from fresh baked bread, to make your own waffles, to cheeses, eggs and other foods. The staff at the buffet was very helpful and lovely. The hotel is well located just a few blocks from the Alstadt (old city) and it was easy to walk everywhere from there. It's also right next to the bus/tram station. However, a few things you need to know before you book this hotel. 1) The reception desk is only staffed until early evening. 2) Housekeeping is sporadic. We were there for 6 nights and the room was only cleaned once. 3) There is no air conditioning. We had a fan in the room and opened the windows and it was bearable at night, but not super cool. On a very hot day or night this could really be an issue. 4) With the windows open, it is really noisy, particularly because the bus and tram station is right across the street. 5) There is no shampoo or conditioner provided--only hand soap at the sink and body soap in the shower. However, there's a drug store across the street where you can get what you need. 6) There are small sets of stairs that you may have to go up and down on the floor where the rooms are. If you have mobility issues, try to ask about this when you book so that you get a room where this won't be an issue. We had a very nice stay, but those are things I would have liked to know before I booked, so I thought I'd include them in a review.
