Shuguangwei Hotel (Hefei Swan Lake)

For the May Day holiday, I spent three days in Hefei and booked a Swan Lake View Twin Room at the Shuguangwei Hotel a month in advance. The price was reasonable, less than 1400 for two nights. I loved its location; from the room, I could see the full panorama of Swan Lake and Hefei's 'three-piece suite' of skyscrapers. Plus, it's seamlessly connected to Intime Department Store, so food and drinks were never an issue! It's about 600 meters from the subway station, and getting a taxi was very convenient. There were always taxis waiting at the Intime bus stop, and taxi fares in Hefei are genuinely inexpensive. The front desk and restaurant are both on the 45th floor, and my room was also on the 45th floor, which was very convenient. The room was quite spacious, and the beds were clean and comfortable. They thoughtfully provided snacks, tea bags, and even a hand mask. Unfortunately, the hairdryer was not good – it was old and heavy, and it would automatically shut off when it got too hot. Towards the end, I just had to give up and went to bed with wet hair. As for breakfast, the variety was decent enough to fill you up, but it wasn't particularly extensive. So, after eating there on the first day, we decided to explore other options for breakfast on the second day.

The room facilities are complete. Facilities: Excellent! I've been here many times and I love it. I'll definitely come again!

My family and I went to see Cai Jie's performance this past weekend, and we carefully chose a hotel with an excellent location. The day before our arrival, the hotel proactively reached out to us, expressing their sincere care and asking if we had any special requests. Since we were arriving quite early on Saturday, we originally only planned to drop off our luggage and casually inquired if early check-in was possible. To our pleasant surprise, even though our reserved room wasn't ready, the hotel generously upgraded us for free to a more elegant lake-view suite. The entire experience was incredibly warm and thoughtful.

Our overall experience was fantastic, and I simply have to praise this hotel. The hotel's ambiance is elegant, and the public areas are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly and warm, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room itself was a good size, exceptionally clean, and completely odor-free. The soft furnishings were tastefully minimalist and comfortable. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the pillows were excellent for neck support, ensuring a great night's sleep. Soundproofing in the room was good, so we weren't bothered by outside noise. The bathroom facilities were comprehensive, with instant hot water and consistent water pressure, making daily use very convenient. Overall, it offers great value for money, with thoughtful touches evident everywhere. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure stays. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back.

I booked this hotel for a concert, and the transportation was incredibly convenient. The shuttle back to the Museum subway station only took six minutes, and it was just a five-minute walk from the subway exit to the hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone attending a concert. Yintai shopping mall is right downstairs, and all the attractions are within a 15-minute reach, which is super convenient. The soundproofing is excellent—much better than many pricier hotels. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. What really deserves praise is the hotel's personalized service. I had booked the wrong room type for the second day, and even with very limited availability, the front desk actively and effectively helped resolve the issue. They didn't neglect guests' needs during shift changes, and their service was far from perfunctory or formulaic. I'm especially grateful to the lovely front desk staff who provided such thoughtful service and convenience, giving me a service quality far exceeding the price. I hope your hotel continues to improve!

Overall, among hotels in the same price range, this one stands out remarkably and offers great value for money. The stay was relaxing and comfortable, exceeding my expectations. I will definitely prioritize this hotel again if I return to the area.

There wasn't a single negative experience during my stay; the service was thoughtful and meticulous, showing great attention to detail. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again when I’m back in the area and highly recommend it to everyone.
