A beautiful hotel on a beautiful place, just at the beach. It’s newly renovated to top notch, both rooms and other areas. But, other things fall behind. Food is average, service uneven and the abundance of single use cups, sachets with salt, ketchup, mayonnaise etcetera, and signs are missing (how do I find the entrance and the restroom), quite a lot of plastic litter around the building… all these small things need to be improved.

My room on the 3 floor had a big balcony and good beds and a small kitchen.. bathroom had all you expect . Sea view and short walk to the beach. Food was good , and the outdoor terrace with a wonderful view. The fitness room had all new and great facilities and that in combination with the sauna !

This hotel has undergone recent renovations. Based on my experience, reviews before May 2024 do not accurately reflect the current state of the hotel. My recent stay at the hotel reminded me that different guests have different accommodation needs. Some seek luxurious comfort, while others prefer a more affordable place to stay. I would consider this hotel to be somewhere in between. Situated at the beach, it allows for easy access to the sea. Some rooms are very close to the beach. In particular, we could walk to the beach from our balcony door. The bed was moderately firm and provided a good night's rest. The bathroom in our room had a walk-in shower and tissues but no body lotion or hair dryer. The room had a kitchen sink, an oven, and cutlery. Breakfast options were varied, but it was busy. During my visit, the sauna was unfinished. The gym was accessible, though. The top-floor bar and the gym both offered beautiful sunset views. The steel mill behind the hotel is not visible in the sea view photos. There was no dinner à la carte. The dinner was buffet-style. Many families with small children were present and, at the time of my visit, there was only one lift to the reception.

Recently attended a conference event at this hotel - fantastic location and great conference room with superb panoramic rooms. Hotel is about to be closed for major refurbishment - might explain somewhat "off" service at times. Service ranged from excellent to poor. Hopefully it can return and excel on all fronts - location is a big plus

Over het algemeen wel een fijn hotel maar wel met een groot minpunt. Zo is het echt gehorig. Ik hoorde vaak deuren hard dichtklappen. Harde geluiden uit de kamers links en rechts van mij. Zoals koffer dichtritsen, douchedeur openen etc. Van boven hoorde je mensen lopen. Dat vind ik jammer, dat ze geen aandacht hebben besteed aan goede isolatie. Ik had een kamer met zeezicht. Maar dat is niet frontaal zeezicht zoals de foto's doen vermoeden. Als je aan de linkerkant zit, kijk je schuin op de zee maar ook op Tata steel. Zit je aan de andere zeezicht kant dan kijk je op de zee en de parkeerplaats. Er is dus geen normaal frontaal zeezicht. Het ontbijt vond ik een beetje magertjes. Een gekookt ei en lauwe scrumbled eggs. Er stond niemand die een vers gebakken ei maakte. Of omeletje, ook geen sla of salades kunnen vinden. Personeel stond te geinen met elkaar en riepen steeds onder elkaar: iemand nog koffie? Vond ik een beetje onprofessioneel. Skybar is heel mooi, matrassen liggen lekker. Airco gaat maar tot 19 graden dus nog wel te warm snachts voor mij. Geen minibar. Wel een eigen koelkast met vriesvak en magnetron.

Hôtel parfait ! Très bonne surprise : Moderne – propre – belle vue – calme – chambre bien équipée (manque peut-être une chaine TV en Français style TV5 ou une chaine info en français). Buffet le soir très bon et varié. Personnel charmant et efficace. Parking gratuit et wifi efficace. Nous reviendrons.

Schönes Hotel oberhalb der Dünen mit Blick aufs Meer. Da wir spät gebucht hatten, gab es nur noch Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, die aber direkt nebeneinander standen. Zimmer ist zweckmäßig, und es gibt einen kleinen Balkon. Die günstigen Zimmer sind zum Innenhof oder mit Blick Richtung Industriegebiet, daher der großzügige Aufschlag für die Meerblickzimmer. Parkplätze sind direkt am Hotel vorhanden, sofern das Personal die Schranke auch öffnet (war bei uns leider nicht immer der Fall)- Es gibt einen Wellnessraum mit heißer und warmer Sauna sowie Dampfbad. Sehr angenehm zum Aufwärmen nach dem Baden im kalten Meer. Frühstück war gut, aber ohne Highlights. Weder gab es frisch zubereitete Eier noch andere nennenswerte Dinge. Trotzdem eine solide Leistung.

Wat een prachtig hotel! Hele ruime kamers met goede bedden. Heerlijk ontbijt en het is ontzettend stijlvol ingericht. En een absolute plus; bijna overal waar je loopt heb je uitzicht op het strand! Aanrader is de skybar! Wij komen zeker nog eens!

Ontzetten d mooi gerenoveerd, echt een prachtig hotel geworden. Zowel de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes als de kamers zijn erg sfeervol ingericht. Het terras is gigantisch met een panoramisch uitzicht op de zee. Heel erg vriendelijk personeel. Kortom een echt aanrader!!
