Holiday Inn Express Harbin Central Avenue by IHG

Traveling to Harbin during the May Day holiday, I finally settled on this hotel, and indeed, chain brands are trustworthy. The RA who assisted us was warm and polite, resolving issues promptly – much appreciated! The hotel is located right on Central Street, making it convenient for taxis. It's not particularly close to bus stops and even further from the subway, so it's best if you're taking taxis, driving yourself, or plan to primarily explore Central Street on foot. The hotel is diagonally opposite the west gate of Zhaolin Park, and it's about a ten-minute walk to the Harbin City Museum, which is a big plus. I stayed for 4 nights, including breakfast for two. On May Day itself, breakfast featured shrimp and fried chicken drumsticks, and the rice noodles were delicious. All in all, it was a very good stay.

Hygiene: Extremely clean. Service: The front desk lady provided exceptional service. Breakfast: A wide variety of nutritious and healthy options. Rooms: Very clean, and housekeeping service was excellent. Facilities: The laundry room and gym were both very clean.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was quite spacious and even had a fresh air system. The facilities, like the laundry room, were all well-equipped, and the breakfast was good too. The service quality was excellent, and the IT service was also great.

Great brand, it's a Holiday Inn Express under InterContinental, so the quality control is guaranteed. The facilities are all very well-equipped. Mr. (name/initials, if provided, otherwise leave as Mr.) at the front desk provided excellent service and gave me a free room upgrade. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. The only downside is that some of the public spaces are a bit small, like the lobby, gym, and laundry room. Also, the management of smoking in public areas should be strengthened.

Not bad at all! It's conveniently located right off Central Street, so you can just step out and start exploring. It's also an easy walk to the market, St. Sophia Cathedral, and the subway station. As is typical for Holiday Inn Express, there were quite a few foreign guests, and the breakfast was decent too.

The hotel's location is good, but the step at the entrance is too high. You have to carry your own luggage up, and an average woman wouldn't be able to lift it. Also, because of how my trip was booked, the front desk told me I wasn't an IHG member. This is the first time I've been denied recognition despite staying at Holiday Inn so many times, and I didn't even get any fruit!
