Hotels with Spa in Hanoi

This is a hidden gem in the midst of the old quarter. A part of Hanoi where a myriad of shops selling a huge range of goods exists next to Hanoi's seemingly endless coffee shops. In very European architecture These small shops are bustling throughout the day. The hotel is nestled comfortably up a side street accessible via both stress, though only one is used by taxis. The staff are extremely friendly and make it their business to ensure the traveller is well looked after. Rooms are clean and come with a stocked fridge with Beer and soft drinks. The air conditioning is superb and in near 40C heat it is so welcoming. The balcony is large. Almost a second room in itself. Sit on the balcony in the evening during a thunder storm and watch the light show in the night sky...tremendous. With the balcony walls being solid, privacy is guaranteed as is safety...not going to fall off this. Breakfast is a pleasant mix of western and Asian. Cold cuts or cooked food. Eggs done by the chef to order. The hotel has a small travel desk so do ask about places to visit. Staff are very knowledgeable. Top tip: get the GRAB or BE app to book your taxis and avoid cab hailing....the risk of being scammed is very high. One final thought...not far is Railway Street. I won't spoli it....go and find out what happens. Get a daily timetable of trains. It is an experience. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Hanoi Marvellous last weekend in interconnecting rooms. There are only 2 rooms on the 8th floor so we had the floor to ourselves. Our stay was excellent. The location is very central to the lake and the centre of the city. The staff are extremely helpful and give excellent information about places to see, transport etc. The rooms are large and very clean and the bathrooms are well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of fruit, breads, cereal, yogurts, juice etc as well as cooked eggs. The staff go above and beyond to offer help and hospitality. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The service and hotel was wonderful. The hotel staff went out of the way to ensure we got the best service, especially the guy name Huyen at the concierge. It was my birthday and they surprised me with a cake which was very nice. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Although it is costly per night, their service is worth every cent spent.

I visited May De VIlle Legend Hotel & Spa in The Old Quarter, 23-25 Nguyen Sieu, Hanoi many, many times, for both breakfast buffet, treatments and sightseeing tours. I can reccomend this Hotel so much. The staff is proffessional, helpful and great fun to talk with. We became great friends and I got much help from them. I booked a Jeepney tour that lasted about 5 hours and we visited a time witness that had been at the scene when a B52 was shot down. The witness was then 12 years old and is today the only surviving witness. We visited him in his home and got a chance to talk with him in person, which was special. The jeepney also drove us to a place to eat famous Obama dinner and a dessert, we saw many hotspots of Hanoi. I also booked a Hanoi City tour that I was very happy with. I got to see Hanoi Hilton and Ho Chi Minh Mauseleum, and more. My tours were great, the guides were very good and I experienced much of Hanoi in a convenient manner. The breakfast Buffet at May De Ville Legend is very good, so I visited the Hotel many mornings, as I at the time lived some place else. I hope to stay at May De Ville Legend Hotel & Spa in the future. I got to see some of the rooms and they looked spacious and very inviting, with a neat shower and bathroom, and a large bed. There are City View rooms higer up with nice day light flooding the room. Reccommended. A sincere regards to all the Staff who do a great job at making your visit memorable.

Hotel is in a great location and we had a comfortable stay. Our room was a two bedroom with a kitchen, which was nice and spacious with two kids. Bathrooms had a couple of spots where moisture was getting at the corners and paint was peeling. Also one of the beds has a whole in the headboard. We are pretty easy going so none of that bothered us or affected our stay.

The hotel is located right to where all the must visits places in Old Quarters are. Though we only booked to stay for a night before our adventure in Hanoi starts but Joy and Nana were so helpful and constantly checking on our wellbeing. We were celebrating our anniversary during this trip and they prepared something special for us when we arrived! The room is clean when we arrived, there were plenty of space as we had 2 luggages, a carry-on bag snd 2 backpacks. It's just by one of the busy street but I would say the noises wasn't much of a big deal as we could barely hear any and most of the time we are out till midnight! Tried their massages too, IT WAS HEAVEN! They offer a 50% off for every one hour massages so it was so worth it! Their bar at the rooftop has a perfect view at night and you can also see some parts of the lake during the day. They also allowed us to leave our luggages with them though we had checked out the day before leaving for our cruise trip and came back while waiting for the midnight bus leaving town to Sapa. Once again, special shoutout to Joy and Nana (also the rest of the team members) for such amazing hospitality. We would definitely come back and stay longer next time!

Score 11/10! Very good experience that over my expectation! The most impressive part of the whole stay would be the sincere service from the front desk! From the very beginning their service would surprised you~ the Doorman welcomes you with a very good smile and help you deal with luggages. Welcome drinks serve while waiting for the check-in. After that a very handsome front-desk officer--Yu, help us introduce nearly every attraction of Ha Noi and famous restaurants as well. Sincerely thanks to Yu's kindness and assistance(also free room upgrade~). Also the infrastructure of the hotel is satisflying, from the roof bar, you can see the sword lake and also the most central view of old quarter. Breakfast with nearly 5-star standards. Highly recommend for tourists visiting old quarter!

The Hanoi Lucien Hotel and Spa or San Grand Hotel as it is now known is a delightful hotel. It is an oasis in a mad, mad city. A place in a city of over 4 million scooters where you can really relax and enjoy peace and quiet. The location of the hotel is terrific. A street or two away from the lake and right smack in the centre of the Hoan Kiem old city. This hotel has to be one of the best places to come to peace and where one can enjoy the peace. It is also probably one of the best places and certainly one of the most pleasant places I have stayed. Don’t get me wrong, there were a few minor shortcomings but these are more than compensated by the perfect location and the terrific personnel. For one the view from our room was certainly not the reason we liked this hotel, neither were the teeny weeny slippers or the soap or shampoo bottles which were not attached to the walls in the shower… no certainly not, but what makes this hotel so terrific is the proactive, enthusiasm and friendly attitude of just about every single member of the staff in this hotel, including the management. From the friendly happy greeting of the ladies that made up our room, to the two young men that greeted us when we entered the hotel and carried our luggage up to the room, or who escorted us up to the dining room. We were equally delighted by the incredible assistance we were given by all the members at the reception desk. Both my wife and I particularly remember Ruby, and that young lady at the travel desk, but their colleagues were also absolutely terrific and we are very sorry that we do not know their names as they did not have name tags and their names also deserve to be mentioned here, but will have to remain anonymous. The restaurant on the tenth floor was marvellous. The view over the city and the lake as well as the food and the service was top notch. Every whim and fancy was taken care of by the very able staff. Our waiter even remembered what we had ordered two nights previously, and when we had any questions or concerns about the wine or the food they were very ably answered by the very pleasant and smart manager, Jeff, who was a most delightful and helpful person. The menu was varied and the food we had was delicious and here again the service was like in the rest of this hotel… top rate. I cannot use or even find enough superlatives to describe this staff as they more than compensate for any very minor shortcomings this hotel may have. The staff were pleasant, enthusiastic, pro-active helpful, informative and professional. An absolute credit to whomever set up this team. But wait there is more. The dining room was also the breakfast room so for breakfast we also enjoyed the same view over the Hoan Kiem area, the lake and Hanoi. The breakfast was also varied and simply delicious. First, the location was amazing. It was located right in the heart of the Old Quarter. We had an 18 hour layover in Hanoi and this allowed us to maximize our short time here. We got to experience the culture of Vietnam in an incredible way. Second, our host, Huong Nguyen, was the best. She helped coordinate a private car from the airport to the hotel and gave us a full itinerary of places to eat and visit to maximize our short stay. She was exceptional at her job and she became our very first friend in Vietnam. Huong, thank you for all that you did for us. I hope to see you again soon. Third, the spa here was one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had. Not only was it very affordable, but the experience was truly world class. If you stay at La Siesta, I highly recommend that you take advantage of La Spa, a high end spa experience that you won’t want to miss out on. We will definitely be visiting here again in our next trip to Vietnam :)
