I was able to stay in one of their twin room. The room was decent for a 4d3n stay you get the basic necessities and complimentary items that any hotel offers such as water bottles, toiletries etc. The room was a bit outdated. the twin beds were an inch apart from each other which can be a bit uncomfortable for other people. Their toilet lacks lighting and very dim. The beds were okay except that you only had 1 pillow and its almost flat. The staff on the other hand were very hospitable and welcoming. The restaurant which is located on the top most floor had a good morning view paired with the buffet breakfast that was good serving a mixture of local and international food selections. The coffee was delicious and tge servers and attendants were very pleasant and hospitable. They also have computers amd printers that are available for guests which is suitable and ideal for people that are in hanoi for business. Location wise its a bit far from the hoam kiem lake. Its about 15mins by cab thats around 35k dong. Overall its a good hotel to consider if you are there primarily for business purposes.

Good hotel. Helpful staff. Great location. You will have a nice and comfortable stay here. It’s located in the middle of market. For your regular stuff like water bottles, food items, liquor, beverages, etc. the Circle K store is right around the corner. The staff will help you in currency exchange as well. However, there are some areas of improvement: 1. The pool is quite small 2. The gym equipment is all rusty 3. If you are a vegetarian, breakfast buffet will be very disappointing for you 4. There is no good view from most of the rooms. 5. Despite having rooms available, they didn’t help in early check-in. They asked for quite an erratic amount for early check-in. Considering the tariff, it was a great choice!

Positives - Clean, decently appointed VFM accommodation right in the heart of the city. - Friendly & courteous staff members especially Ms Dung at reception & breakfast service plus kitchen staff. - Decent breakfast options for the price charged & good service. - Housekeeping service was efficient and clean for all the 3 nights we stayed there. - Good wifi & amenities. - Help always offered at reception if assistance is asked for. - Walking distance to convenience stores and local restaurants. Unlike the much hyped but unclean & very loud old quarters area this is much much better (personal preference). - Good cancellation policies for last minute booking amendments not too fussy or late cancellation charges. Negatives - For late night arrivals entrance to the hotel can be a bit confusing as it shares the same lobby as the highlands coffee next door. - They have missed the trick by not offering a balcony although their r windows but for a claustrophobic person this can get a bit stressy although not that bad as the windows open wide, my room was very well ventilated, view outside on the higher floors was decent for the city. Overall considering Hanoi & price charged this is a good option to consider if your looking for a clean, hygienic, good location & decent breakfast. Staff are understanding & do not rush you for anything which is a good thing. Most of them speak atleast basic English so communication is not stressed for their is not miscommunication.
Nesta Boutique Hotel Ha Noi

The deluxe room is quite big, with two double beds, two breakfasts, and lots of tricks. The hotel is only 1.5 kilometers away from the ocean park building of the IELTS field and 700 meters away from the speaking test IDP office. It is convenient for the test. It is 2.5 kilometers away from Hoan Kiem Lake and an hour’s drive away from the airport. The hotel provides airport pick-up service for 22 USD, free coffee and electric toilet.

Hotel is quite new, quite clean. There are a few issues. When I just check in hotel manager told me to pay extra 100,000 VND, I ask why. She said there was a glitch on computer and the price listed was mistake, should be higher. I said if the price listed was wrong it was their problems because I had already paid, besides other hotels booking apps also showed the same price. She said you can check in now, but when come back at 2 pm when room was ready then pay extra. I said no. You have to deal with hotel booking app agency, not me. 2nd problems, as almost all hotels in Vietnam have, fake and .is leading photos, showing rooms have windows , but not quite real windows. At night when light turn off, can not see a thing and is in completely darkness can not even see your own fingers in front. Breakfast is too simple. I asked to change room with window like what show on web site, I was told not available any more, but on web site it shows still available. Manager, then show me the room in front which has real window, and asked for $1,800,000 VND/ night pay directly to hotel. What a big joke. He then show me his other hotel opposite at over prices rates too for poor conditions hotel.
