A veritable symphony hotel, the decorated electric drill sounds like a symphony from day to night
Grand Dragon Hotel Hanoi

The price is cheap and the space is spacious, especially after the door is opened, it is a comfortable double bed, the pillows are comfortable and sleepy, the bathroom is bright and clean, the medium room type has a bathtub to relax the fatigue of the whole day. The housekeeping staff is very kind. If you encounter problems, you can call the counter staff at any time. The processing speed and communication ability are quite good. Once my door was hung, please do not disturb, but the bottled water in my room was gone. The housekeeping staff on the floor immediately prepared new water for me. There was no delay at all. Very efficient Breakfast is delicious, especially the English ability of the counter staff is very good, don't worry about the problem of unclear communication, sincerely recommend the living function near the hotel is also quite convenient, there are many convenience stores and cafes nearby, Going a little further is Shopping Mall and McDonald's, don't worry about having no place to go shopping
LA MANDARINA HOTEL & TRAVEL

Thanks for the amazing experience at La Mandarina Hotel. The hotel owner and the staffs are very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. When I was there exploring the Old Quarters, they even told me the places to eat and took pictures for me. Really recommend everyone to go there to spend the night. I will come back here when I have another chance to visit Hanoi!

It's in a great location for Koreans to come The street is a Korean village, so there are many Korean restaurants, convenience stores and marts. It was so comfortable on the first floor. The hostel was clean and the view was good. The host tried his best to eliminate the inconvenience and was friendly And it was possible without difficulty for local guests to visit I will definitely come here again if I travel to Hanoi next time. By the way, Starbucks is on the first floor, so you can walk in a minute.

The location is good, in the city center, not far from Lotte Shopping Center 15 minutes drive from Hoan Kiem Lake. There is Circle K downstairs, turn right when you go out and walk for 3 minutes to Pho. The hotel facilities are a bit old, especially the washing machine is difficult to use
Hanoi Golden Hostel

To be honest, didn't stay at this hotel. This hotel is behind the White Horse Temple and there should be two stores. At the front desk of the hotel, my sister could n’t speak Chinese and communicated in English. Then she told us that the hotel circuit was broken. We changed to another shop, called TU linh palace hostel. Our room was small. But my uncle who came to meet us spoke Chinese and experienced the difficult communication in English. I felt kind to this uncle instantly. At that time, we did not exchange enough Vietnamese dongs. We exchanged 3,000 renminbi dongs with our uncle. Then I asked my uncle to buy a 22-dollar ticket to Da Nang for us. This is more pit, but as the first stop abroad, Hanoi can still accept it! !! In the end, Hanoi, as the capital of Vietnam, has more Westerners, less hotels in Chinese, and higher consumption. The hotel is like that, anyway, I didn't live in this hotel.

Hanoi Pet-friendly Hotel Guide

Introduction to Hanoi

Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, is a fascinating blend of East and West, combining traditional Sino-Vietnamese motifs with French flair. It is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese, and French influences.

Tips for Travelling to Hanoi

Noi Bai International Airport serves Hanoi and is the largest airport in the country. It's about 45 minutes from the city center. Once in the city, you can navigate using taxis, motorbike taxis, public buses, or by hiring a bicycle or a scooter.

Vietnam’s official currency is the Vietnamese dong (VND), but credit cards are commonly accepted in hotels and restaurants. The Vietnamese language prevails, though English is widely spoken in tourist areas and hotels.

Visa policies vary depending on your nationality, and some travelers may be eligible for visa exemptions for stays less than 15 days. Always check these details before traveling.

Popular Attractions in Hanoi

The Old Quarter is Hanoi's historic heart and commercial hub, showcasing its rich history with well-preserved colonial buildings, ancient pagodas, and vibrant markets.

Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum to delve into Vietnam's past. Don't miss the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first national university with its stunning architecture.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Hanoi experiences a warm humid subtropical climate with plenty of rainfall. The best times to visit are spring (February-April) and autumn (October-December) when temperatures are milder. Summer can be hot and humid, while winter is cool and dry. Depending on the season, pack suitable clothing for your comfort.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Hanoi

For a luxury stay near attractions, consider the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, a grand colonial building in the French Quarter. Budget travelers might find the Hanoi Serene Centre Hotel & Spa or the Hanoi Brilliant Hotel and Spa appealing for their great locations and affordability.

The Oriental Jade Hotel provides an excellent blend of comfort and style, making it an Instagram-friendly choice with its rooftop swimming pool offering views of the Hoan Kiem Lake.
