The receptionist a mature lady ensured from the minute we arrived that all would go well even if we were English. She helped my wife with the local Pharmacy (thank you).The hotel has ample parking. Parts of the hotel actually have an interesting Irish Rail history as well. The hotel is right next to a decent high street 5minute walk away. They also served Murphy's in the bar! The room was good but it was the history inside the hotel and the conversion of the Railway bridge into a drinking area very novel. Breakfast was very good and competative no complaints from me Irish Breakfast same as an English to me! Would we stay there again yes we are planning to again next year. Iy is only a 45min drive drom Cork airport.

This is a hidden gem in the midst of the old quarter. A part of Hanoi where a myriad of shops selling a huge range of goods exists next to Hanoi's seemingly endless coffee shops. In very European architecture These small shops are bustling throughout the day. The hotel is nestled comfortably up a side street accessible via both stress, though only one is used by taxis. The staff are extremely friendly and make it their business to ensure the traveller is well looked after. Rooms are clean and come with a stocked fridge with Beer and soft drinks. The air conditioning is superb and in near 40C heat it is so welcoming. The balcony is large. Almost a second room in itself. Sit on the balcony in the evening during a thunder storm and watch the light show in the night sky...tremendous. With the balcony walls being solid, privacy is guaranteed as is safety...not going to fall off this. Breakfast is a pleasant mix of western and Asian. Cold cuts or cooked food. Eggs done by the chef to order. The hotel has a small travel desk so do ask about places to visit. Staff are very knowledgeable. Top tip: get the GRAB or BE app to book your taxis and avoid cab hailing....the risk of being scammed is very high. One final thought...not far is Railway Street. I won't spoli it....go and find out what happens. Get a daily timetable of trains. It is an experience. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Hanoi Marvellous last weekend in interconnecting rooms. There are only 2 rooms on the 8th floor so we had the floor to ourselves. Our stay was excellent. The location is very central to the lake and the centre of the city. The staff are extremely helpful and give excellent information about places to see, transport etc. The rooms are large and very clean and the bathrooms are well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of fruit, breads, cereal, yogurts, juice etc as well as cooked eggs. The staff go above and beyond to offer help and hospitality. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a bussines trip but still, I got the chance to really enjoy my stay. The hotel is like brand new and is located at a perfect spot where I could explore all of the Old Quarter. And the staffs were amazing too, especially Stella. She helped us a lot, took lots of her time try to answered all of my silly questions, and made my boring breakfast more enjoyable. Just can't thank her enough. Overall, this hotel is where you should stay if you want to feel what it's like being in the heart of the Old Quarter. I will comeback soon.

It was my birthday and they surprised me with a cake which was very nice. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Although it is costly per night, their service is worth every cent spent.

I visited May De VIlle Legend Hotel & Spa in The Old Quarter, 23-25 Nguyen Sieu, Hanoi many, many times, for both breakfast buffet, treatments and sightseeing tours. I can reccomend this Hotel so much. The staff is proffessional, helpful and great fun to talk with. We became great friends and I got much help from them. I booked a Jeepney tour that lasted about 5 hours and we visited a time witness that had been at the scene when a B52 was shot down. The witness was then 12 years old and is today the only surviving witness. We visited him in his home and got a chance to talk with him in person, which was special. The jeepney also drove us to a place to eat famous Obama dinner and a dessert, we saw many hotspots of Hanoi. I also booked a Hanoi City tour that I was very happy with. I got to see Hanoi Hilton and Ho Chi Minh Mauseleum, and more. My tours were great, the guides were very good and I experienced much of Hanoi in a convenient manner. The breakfast Buffet at May De Ville Legend is very good, so I visited the Hotel many mornings, as I at the time lived some place else. I hope to stay at May De Ville Legend Hotel & Spa in the future. I got to see some of the rooms and they looked spacious and very inviting, with a neat shower and bathroom, and a large bed. There are City View rooms higer up with nice day light flooding the room. Reccommended. A sincere regards to all the Staff who do a great job at making your visit memorable.

Hotel is in a great location and we had a comfortable stay. Our room was a two bedroom with a kitchen, which was nice and spacious with two kids. Bathrooms had a couple of spots where moisture was getting at the corners and paint was peeling. Also one of the beds has a whole in the headboard. We are pretty easy going so none of that bothered us or affected our stay.

Impressive entrance with a short walk to anything you might want/need in Hanoi. Check-in was a breeze when we arrived mid-afternoon. The lobby on Level 1 and restaurant on level 2 are opulent and well-served with competent and English fluent staff. The room I had was well presented, very clean and well-serviced. Great pillows!! Small, but functional bathroom with a great two-way shower. Money can be exchanged at reception at around market rate. The breakfast on level 2 has something for everyone. Vietnamese, western and excellent pastries. Fresh fruit and a great noodle bar. The wait staff and chefs are expert and can create pretty much anything on request. The room service menu is spartan but reasonably priced and well presented and delivered hot. Pasta, pizza, burgers and (of course) Pho. For those not familiar with Vietnamese coffee, fasten your seatbelt before trying. This beverage will wake the deepest sleeper in seconds. Concierge services are effective and non-intrusive. There is a mini-supermarket about 100 metres from the front door where you can find that razor you forgot amongst other necessities. This hotel is brilliantly located near the lake, which is a great location for a stroll. Within a five minute walk you can find pretty much anything that you can think of. There is a roof top bar and pool on level 10 and, to be honest, this was a little disappointing. The pool works, but the surrounds are a little tired and could do with an upgrade. Not a showstopper by any means. The lifts work, the electricity is 100% available and the wifi is fast and consistent. The laundry service is fast and reasonably priced. If you want to outsource laundry, there are several services available close by for USD$1.50 per kilo. My team of 3 stayed here for 12 days and very much enjoyed the facilities and hospitality. I would stay here again any day of the week!!

The General Manger Mr. Do and his staff welcomed us very well on arrival with a efficient check in process. The hotel is located in a great area (we were walking around after midnight and felt safe). Breakfast spread was excellent and food tasty with lots of variety, customer service was very good, rooms were well appointed and bed very comfortable. Felt at home and very welcomed. I stayed in this hotel from 21-23 December and was booked for another hotel in Hanoi after my trip in Sapa in 26 December. I immediately liked the hospitality and the simple room I stayed in as it's quiet and away from the street noise. The location is absolutely perfect, only 1 minute away from St. Joseph Cathedral and 5 minutes from Hoan Kiem Lake. There are a lot of local cafes and restaurants around the area. As I liked my stay the first round, I have immediately decided to book again when I came back to Hanoi on the 26th. One absolute gem is the Metis Spa located inside the hotel. It offers substantial discount when you are a hotel guest and I would highly recommend this Spa too. Big thanks to Sarah and all the hotel staffs for the welcome.

Following an error in the hotel about the room my agency had booked at the Golden Sun Suite, it was found that it was no longer free and that no other room could be offered to us. We were not able to choose, but we went there with surprise to see that it was a very large room with two huge beds and a balcony. The next day, my traveler asked me whether I wanted to stay at A25 or go to the previously chosen hotel, which was possible because the mistake was entirely due to Golden Su n Suite but by warning me at A25 had only 2 stars. We did not appreciate the change of hotel at a late hour and A25 offered a room that gave me full satisfaction, we decided to stay at A25, to the great distress of the Golden because there were still 5 nights. The room was perfect for A25, and it was a two-star, with a buffet lunch only possible on Saturday and Sunday, but the bathroom was well with the necessary toiletries. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable.

Hostel was quiet and beds were comfy, the bedding was clean and we were provided with towels. The communal showers were also clean and you were provided with shampoo and shower gel if needed. The staff were really helpful and went above and beyond to make sure you had a good time! They really are a credit to this place!! Some of the internal decor is a bit tired now, scuffs and marked walls and my curtain in the dorm had a lot of food stains on it, But all in all it is a good hostel! The communal areas are clean, the bar/cafe at the top was not in use but you could go and sit up there and look over Hanoi.

I booked at eternity hotel via Agoda but it was closed and there's a note that said I will check in Hanoi Avatar. When I arrived there the reception guy was rude and not helpful at all. I went to the room and was shocked it was not the room I expected. Very small and when I slept I was itching and felt something crawling. Lift the pillow then saw 3 bed bugs, lift the blanket and there's more. I then checked out and told the guy I need a refund so the guy told me that he will give my refund the next day. He advised me to contact agoda too which i did and haven't received any response. So the next day I went back to get my refund and people at the reception just told me they can't do anything I just need to contact agoda. They don't care at all. I'm really disappointed I hope that anyone who booked with this hotels would cancel it to not have same experience as I am

And in the rest of the world, more than 90 percent of the time is the same as the picture. However, I don't think Vietnam's weather conditions are optimal, so I can't enjoy 100%. And if you're going to walk up to the rest of the room on the fifth floor, if you're drunk or tired, you're going to be a little bit worried. In the case of the room, I don't know what the other room is, but in the case of the room I stayed directly, it is very different from the picture, it is somewhat unfinished or old, it is in good condition, such as some time to burn or paint peeled off I couldn't (but the hygiene was not particularly bad, such as mold, etc.) For service, the staff was friendly, but checked in at around 6 o'clock, which was rather late at check-in, but the staff was not at the reception place at this time and contacted but not easily connected (I think the host probably had a personal situation on the day when I saw a neighbor coming to me and picking up the phone and helping the reception instead) In aggregate, the common room view can feel as much as you expect, but most of the other things will not be expected. But it's not unreasonable because the money is not expensive.

Very convenient location. Quite new and clean for the price. There's also a travel agency right in the hotel if you want to book tours. There's no breakfast even if you want to pay. It would have been convenient if they provided it. Though the lady explained why it wasn't provided anymore. Due to covid, people switched job from the industry, which does make sense.

The guy at the front desk was very nice and patient. The room is small and has poor soundproofing, but the sanitary conditions are pretty good and not dirty. However, the wires on the water heater seemed to have been burned in a previous fire and had not been replaced, which felt a bit dangerous.

On the day of the meal, my sisters visited the hotel and stayed for 3 nights, although the hotel was a bit small, but the staff here was very nice. I was introduced by a bell friend named Van Toan to eat restaurants, restaurants and tourist attractions around. She is very enthusiastic and so are the guests.
