The reviews said this hotel is wonderful but I’m not sure where the reviewers stayed. This is a very basic hotel with dodgy decor. The tv did not work well so was replaced however the replacement did not have the English language channels that the previous on had. We booked breakfast which was good but you had to walk 100 yards across a busy road to another hotel to get it.

I’ve been to Hanoi several times and I like to try new places to stay. From reading past reviews I thought this would be a good choice, but I was wrong! I happened to be in Hanoi during a very cold streak. The hotel has no heat and I was freezing the whole time there. The hot water in the shower only lasts about 2 minutes and then it quickly gets cool. Breakfast was a joke. The only person working at reception took me to another hotel three streets away to have a very poor quality breakfast. I didn’t even bother with their breakfast after the first morning.

The room is old and the equipment is also old. My room has no windows facing the outside, and the window faces the elevator. The bathroom floor tiles are very slippery and the shower room does not drain smoothly. If you're just sleeping overnight, there's no problem. The TV is connected to HBO, but with Vietnamese subtitles.
