The Hotel was quiet nice, however we did have some issues with the initial booking process but they did relocate us and gave us another room.

I had an executive room on the 5th floor, a very nice quiet room, well lit but not much natural light, Japanese style bedroom.Close to the lake and surrounded by restaurants and massage salons. Good hot water, suitable for 1 or 2 people

There were no rooms available, so I was shown to another Classic Street hotel. I was told that I would be upgraded to a 4-star hotel, but the room I was shown was about the level of a 3-star hotel. The staff were very attentive and I was disappointed that I couldn't stay in the room I booked. However, the location was good and I was able to enjoy the old town.

This is the highest score I can give; avoid this place! There's absolutely no service! Dirty and chaotic is an understatement! The only advantage is its proximity to Hoan Kiem Lake! For a hotel with these conditions, the price-performance ratio is far from satisfactory!

Worst Hotel Drip.com Disappointment

Near Hoan Kiem Lake, the late night snacks downstairs were very noisy, there was no WIFI, and the front desk couldn't handle it. There was no Internet all night, so helpless...

After the room WIFI was connected, there was no network, and the hotel did not help solve the problem.

The order has been confirmed When I wanted to check in that day, I was told that there were no rooms available and that the air conditioner in the room originally reserved for us was broken. . Really bad experience

Location is this place’s main attraction. We did also have good assistance from the customer service manager. Bathrooms a wee but run down. And bedsheets had some stains on them. But all in all ok.

Everything is so good The bed and the space was so nice for Such a Smaller Place. I felt so welcomed and comfortable. They did Laundry and was close to everything you need for the time you are here.

We booked Hanoi Lakeside Premium Hotel for two separate nights based on the photos and description, but the reality was very different. The room was poorly maintained, with unfinished repairs (including a partially repaired hole in the wall), patchy paintwork, marks on the walls, and visible water damage stains that appeared old. Skirting boards were dirty and a curtain was hanging off the rail. The bathroom was also substandard, with poor tiling and a loose toilet flush that did not work properly. Overall it was shabby and totally uninviting. Several advertised features were missing – no robes provided, the bed was not presented as shown, and only two very flat pillows. The layout was also impractical, with very little space to move between the bed and the wall-mounted TV. In addition, the supposed secure luggage storage was actually just an area next to the reception desk and not really secure. There was no checking it in or out, they just kept an eye on it. The wider property also reflected similar issues. The reception and washroom areas were dirty, worn, and had an unpleasant sewer smell. The overall impression was of a hotel that is not being properly cleaned or maintained. When we complained and said the room was not suitable, the customer service manager (Bryan) acknowledged the issues we raised but was rude, argumentative, and dismissive, and refused to give us a refund, which made the situation even more stressful. After much back and fore, we left to find somewhere else to stay. By this time, it was late in the day, we had been travelling for over 24 hours with no sleep and we were left dragging our luggage around Hanoi looking for somewhere decent to stay. The hotel subsequently contacted us and apologised for the inconvenience and offered to give us a refund if we returned to the hotel to process this. Upon doing so, the customer service manager stated that the refund would only be provided on the condition that we left an ‘excellent’ review score (9/10). He then attempted to take my phone to submit this rating himself and requested a screenshot as proof to show his manager. The only good thing it has going for it is its location in the old town and a short walk to the lake. All in all a dreadful experience!

I foolishly left my laptop in our room before checking out to go to Ha Long Bay overnight. The staff was very understanding and held the computer for me until I returned!
