The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast selection was quite generous. The price was also reasonable. It's located right next to the old town, which was great for experiencing local life. There are plenty of bars, spas, and coffee shops nearby, which was very convenient. My only minor complaint is that I wasn't really used to the local food.

Excellent service and comfortable stay at Royal St. Hanoi Hotel We stayed at Royal St. Hanoi Hotel due to a last-minute booking after our sleeper train was canceled. The check-in was smooth, and the room was very spacious, beautiful, and well equipped with all facilities, including a good shower and hairdryer. We had difficulty arranging a sleeper bus to Sapa for the next day, but the hotel staff kindly took the initiative to help us and successfully booked the bus for us. The pickup was right at the hotel, which was very convenient. Before leaving, we enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast with Vietnamese food, soup, cakes, and a good variety of choices. Special thanks to the helpful staff for their excellent service. Highly recommended.

RECEPTION/STAFF: They’re all very friendly and professional. BREAKFAST: There’s a variety as well as very delicious food, it can cater for any need! ROOM (Twin Room): Booked for non-smoking room, and there are clear signages (NO SMOKING) in the room; however when we enter the room, the smell of cigarette is too strong and heavy. It’s not the staff nor hotel’s fault but people (customers) who do not follow the rules. However, it would be nice if the staff checked the room prior to our entry to make sure it’s smoke free. Overall, it’s been a pleasant stay and everything is fine. It’s just the heavy smoke / cigarette smell. The corridors are fine, no smell of cigarette only when we enter the room.

The surroundings are good, located on a main commercial street with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. However, I'm not sure if they air out the rooms often, because when I first checked in, there was a sour smell, like clothes that were washed at night in the summer and forgotten to be hung out. The Wi-Fi in the room was a bit unstable, so if you have video conferences, be aware of that.

A nice small hotel a little off the beaten tourist tracks, near the Ethnography Museum. It has a local vibe. There are lots of banks and restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Breakfasts are nice, though the selection is limited, but everything is tasty. The pho-bo is delicious. Comfortable bed and lockers, fingerprint safe. The staff is attentive and polite. Highly recommended.

Our experience with this hotel was average. The front desk staff, however, was notably rude when responding to my questions and repeatedly spoke in Vietnamese while discussing Filipinos with other staff members. Her conduct was unprofessional and disrespectful to a hotel guest.

Lovely hotel to stay. Sfafd can speak english and mandarin. And they are vert helpful even at midnight time

This hotel was excellent. The room was very clean and there was little noise. I had a great rest here. They also had a breakfast room in the morning and it was quite decent. The bed was more firm by western standards, but I quite liked it. I would certainly stay again if I have another opportunity to visit Hanoi.

Clean, staff are very friendly and the breakfast food is really yum.
