Hotels near Hanover Fairground in Hannover

Situated at the old cargo trainstation of Hannover this NYCE is a good stay when you are looking for a non thrill basic, but comfortable stay, room #809 on the highest floor is rather small with a excellent view over Hannover. bathroom was on the smaller side too. i fitted barely inside shower. a short 15 min walk to Hannover train station and close to the Barok gardens and public transports. Young and friendly staff, helpful and correct.

I recommend people to join miles program once they reach hotel. After registering, they can get free train/bus card for their stay. I feel that staff is good and responding. However, sometimes too much shortage of manning causes some issue of discomfort. Also had one incident where towel were smelly.

Short stay visiting family. Hotel in good location, next to supermarket and subway station. Although on main road it was quiet. Good size, very clean basic room. Comfy beds, excellent shower. Didn’t have breakfast but was reasonably priced. Only con was no tea/ coffee facility in the room but there was a vending machine in reception

We stayed at the NH Hannover for two nights. Our room was lovely, very clean and the bed was massive and comfortable. Excellent blackout curtains so we managed a bit of a lie in. The shower was great and the toiletries were also decent quality. There are some really good restaurants in the area - we recommend Cheers for schnitzel and Platoria for top Greek food

My husband and I stayed in this hotel just one night (22nd to 23th july). The hotel looks new, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly, pretty standard. However I have to share here a very terrifying experience that we had. About 05:45 am, when we were still slepping, a strange guy entered into our room. He was completely disoriented, didn't had an alcoholic smell but might be on *****. My husband screamed at him to get out of our room, but he didn't move, just when I said that he was in the wrong room he seemed to understand, than my husband pushed him out of the room and closed the door. Later in the morning my husband checked on how hard you have to push the door in order to close it, he concluded that you have to make an extra push until you hear the very last click of the lock. It is very easy to be tricked by the door. Thank God, it was not really serious but very terrifying. I know that I can't blame the hotel, but I would like to share to warn future guests to double check the door lock. I could swear that my door was closed and apparently it wasn't.

The recipe works until 22-00 , and we arrived later, but on the door there is a detailed instruction where to call and the key boxes, so we settled successfully))) breakfast is quite normal (if not capricized))), There is no elevator - for the 4th floor it is not critical (if there are no huge suitcases))), the room is clean, regulated heating, there is all necessary (and if something is needed - the staff will provide it), one minus was, The stove has not been turned off unless the network connection is turned off (unfortunately it is inside the cabinet and at the bottom, so if your dimensions are not allowed, do not get to)). Staff speaks English and is very kind)) . The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the central station, very convenient to walk on a wide pavement)))) Many sights are also on foot access. We spent 3 nights in this hotel and we did not need taxi or public transport. On our next visit to Hannover we will be happy to spend time again in this hotel!

The Courtyard am Maschsee is a super hotel. I was there for a few days on business trip. The check in was easy and fast. The staff there was friendly and could help me with my questions. The room itself was also very nice. I had a view of the lake. The room was great and modern and had everything you need. It was also tidy and clean. Housekeeping also came every day. The breakfast was very tasty. For a breakfast in corona times this was siper implemented. Service at the table and a super buffet speak for themselves here. The service there was also very friendly. The room service was also totally fine and the food there delicious. (See restaurant report). The location of the hotel is of course outstanding. Very beautifully located on the lake. You can go for a walk and is also quickly in the city center. This is a great place to stay. From a price point of view, we are here in the middle level.

Das Hotel ist modern ausgestattet und ist interessant in ein Bestandsgebäude integriert. Es gibt gefühlt längere Wege, das alles über das rund gestaltete Zentrum läuft. Hier fi der sich auch ein kleiner SB Shop der von Getränke über Chips bis hin zum Ladekabel ein gutes Angebot hat. Direkt nebenan hat es aber auch einen City Rewe (09-2022). Das Essen war gut, auch während der Tagung und der Service war freundlich. Neben einem interessanten Pausenraum mit alten Maschinen kann man auch den sehr nahen großen Parkt zum Wald and Talk oder zum entspannten laufen nutzen.

The hotel was open at our night arrival, no one was present despite the stated 24-hour reception.. Room cards according to telephone instructions in a shuttle, the entire lobby area including bar would have been freely accessible to everyone from outside! The rooms were prepared, but apparently long ago, when there was a clear dust layer on all edges and furniture. The only! The next morning, the staff member confirmed that these rooms should not be inspected, so we had wrong room cards. As compensation, we received breakfast free of charge. It feels harsh writing this review as this hotel is well put together, clean and I went during time of COVID when they were clearly just opening up, I may also stay here again the next time I come to Hannover BUT this experience was somewhat disappointing. Firstly issue was that when we arrived, it took 20-30 minutes before I saw anyone who could help me check in. During check-in (the guy who eventually arrived didn't really seem to know how to use their computer systems) they moved my payment to a different section which led to them asking me about 3/4 times during my stay for payment despite the fact I had already paid and had evidence of it. In fact, this slowness (during a quiet time for the hotel) was a factor many times. Over and over again people disappeared and there was no one on the front desk or around to help. When I got to our room I wanted to call to the desk to ask for some item (I forget right now but they didn't have it) and there was no phone in the room. Quick thinking (kinda) made me call off my mobile. I rang SEVEN times to the front desk - no one answered. I eventually went downstairs to try to find someone. The phone is a classic example of things they don't have. There's a hair and body wash hooked into the shower (surprising for such a nicely finished hotel) but there is no extra amenities. No soap by the sink, no shower cap, no body lotion. I don't need 30 books I'm never going to read which are going to collect dust, I want items I may use. Similarly, they pitch this amazing mini bar which is free - one shot of gin, some tonic, a couple of bottles of water and coca cola and an alcohol-free beer. That's it. For two people. We would have both loved to start off our holiday getting ready to meet friends with a proper beer each - but I guess that doesn't matter to everyone. Another time I ordered an iron - no one seemed to understand what that was. Eventually, after an hour and 4 phone calls and a friend asking downstairs, one arrived. It was a good one to be fair but I was no an hour later than I wanted to be. I think style before substance is the best way to sum up this. It looks great but nothing is functioning properly. I will say there was one lady on the front desk (I forget her name) who was superb. But she was the highlight of a poor stay. Oh, it is quiet and the bed is super comfy though.
