Yitel Hotels in Hangzhou

We had a great stay. Rooms are clean and spacious. Location is excellent with a mall right next door as well as a convenient store. There also is a coffee shop next to the front desk which sells great coffee drinks (oat and soy milk choices available). Breakfast has a good selection of foods and they have a proper coffee machine. Mostly Chinese food though. Walkable to West Lake and Hefang Street. Free use of their washing and drying machines.  I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The reception lady when we arrived was quite unfriendly. When asked about our online parcels, she replied ”to the left” - it a room with a closed door right beside two toilet cubicles, so we did not find it and she seemed very impatient when we asked her to show us the way. All the parcels were placed in a storeroom and we had to look for it ourselves. So there was one missing parcel, and I asked her about the possibility of other patrons mistakenly taking my parcel. The receptionist spoke very fast and repeatedly asked me to call the deliveryman without trying to help. The other receptionists on the second day gave better suggestions and were more willing to help.

In a convenient location, only 2 short blocks away from Metro station of East Railway Station of Hangzhou. Spacious room. Free laundry. Breakfast is ok. Staffs in front desk are really help. They responded quickly to issues I reported. All functions in the room should be verified before a guest is checked in. One issue with hotel locations that it is confusing to ride-shared drivers as the pick up needs to go through underground garage. Room with train track facing window will hear trains as they approaching. Overall I’d recommend this hotel if easy access to the east station is important.
