We found out from the tour (4pm daily - highly recommended) that the smooth and sophisticated Long Jing green tea in our room is grown right at the backyard of the hotel, making the legit “West Lake” Long Jing tea - #1 top 10 Chinese teas. staffs are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the classic Chinese style. Everything in resort, from each drawer in the room to each flower in the garden, is extremely well thought-out. No wonder it is chosen to be the official resort to host guests (Barack Obama, Lee Hsien Loong, etc.) for G20 and Asian Games. We’ll certainly come back!

The hotel environment is very good, quiet and well-equipped. The overall decoration is in an antique Chinese style, which I personally like. The housekeeper was very welcoming. The accommodation at ROXANNE was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect as you could have a mountain view from your room and West Lake is literally just across the street. They have at least 2 different buildings with several room types, outdoor area, hot tub, grill area and just beautiful scenery. The rooms are very clean and spacious, modern with a lot of technological features that one might not expect. The staff was amazing and incredibly helpful. We will definitely be coming back for another stay in the future!
