Narada Grand Hotel Properties in Hangzhou

The room is very spacious, and the view upon checking in was exceptionally beautiful. The Chinese-style decor gives off a sophisticated, oriental Chinese hotel vibe. The bath and toiletries are a full set from the domestic brand 'Sanshenghua,' which feels very upscale, and the toothbrush quality is excellent with soft bristles. The daily breakfast is also incredibly delicious, far surpassing the breakfast quality of most hotels in Hangzhou.

The room view from the higher floors of the hotel offers a great view of Mount Huanglong Cave. Although the rosewood furnishings in the room date back to 2012, they are still very well-maintained, and the bed is quite comfortable. Guest Services, specifically YY, was helpful in understanding my room preferences and reminded me about the breakfast location and times. I especially enjoyed the fresh squeezed juice and the fresh ingredients at the buffet. YY also kindly pointed out the convenient subway access from the basement: take Line 3 to West Lake Culture Plaza, then transfer to Line 1, which goes directly to Hangzhou East – super convenient!

We went to Tangqi Ancient Town to pick loquats and decided to make a day trip out of it. This hotel is one of the best in Tangqi. We arrived around 11 AM, and the parking lot was huge and convenient. The front desk staff, Xiao Liu, was very welcoming. She checked our reservation and found that the room type we booked wasn't available, so she upgraded us for free and even gave us complimentary welcome fruit. We had both lunch and dinner at the ** Yuanxing restaurant across from the hotel. For lunch, we had stir-fried dishes, and for dinner, we had wontons and soup dumplings, both of which were excellent. In the afternoon, we explored the ancient town. It was a three-stop bus ride there and a 30-minute walk back. Breakfast was also very extensive. The hotel is right next to a small canal, which is perfect for walks or runs along the riverbank. Overall, I highly recommend it!

This is a very clean hotel, definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed at. However, there is one downside, if you're looking to vacation in Xihu or the nearby area, it is a bit far, you'll have to walk around 14 minutes to the nearby subway station, and take the subway to Xihu takes over an hour. However, it is one of the cleanest and most well-maintained hotels in the area.
