You'll instantly fall in love with the beautiful and cozy family suite! 😍 The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and equipped with fully automated features, making everything very convenient. While there wasn't a refrigerator, there was still ample space for storing belongings. I spent a long time choosing before my trip, and this place truly exceeded all my expectations! It's just a stone's throw from the West Lake boat docks and very close to Yue Temple. West Lake is literally just across the road, which is exceptionally convenient. The Impressions of West Lake show venue is also directly opposite, leaving absolutely nothing to fault regarding the location. What's even better is that all the service staff were incredibly friendly. I accidentally left a piece of clothing behind, and they proactively contacted me and even mailed it back free of charge – such thoughtful service!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right by West Lake and just a 5-minute walk away. It's adjacent to Yuewang Temple, and directly opposite the hotel entrance is the Constitutional Museum. The hotel service is excellent, and any issues are resolved very promptly. South-facing rooms all come with a small balcony. Overall, the room facilities feel newer compared to the nearby Huabei Hotel and Shangri-La. Thoughtful touches like smart assistants (e.g., Xiaodu) are provided. It's very child-friendly, with complimentary daily snacks and Wahaha AD calcium milk, small ice creams available in the lobby, and dedicated children's play and reading areas. While the breakfast selection isn't vast, it's hearty, homemade-style, and tasty. A self-service laundry facility is available. The hotel is situated within a residential compound, accessible via a cobblestone path. If you arrive on foot, you can call the hotel for entry assistance, and sometimes the friendly security guards at the compound gate will even help transport your luggage to the hotel.

The room is clean but facilities seem a bit old, can not adjust the cold water button and the water dripping sound on the roof over the bed so quite disturb the sleeping. However, the staff is friendly and helpful, the cloth washing is included in the booking so very convenient.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience. The room was small but had everything I needed.Hotel staffs very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall I enjoyed my time here and would consider coming back!

The road leading to the hotel is very narrow and congested.  We are told by numerous taxi drivers to drop off on the main road 🥲

I've been traveling China for weeks now and so far this hotel was my favorite. Location: You're a 6-7 minute walk from West Lake and the famous Su Causeway. 5 minute walk to Yue Fei Temple, 6 minute walk to the incredible Impression of West Lake show directed by Zhang Yimou. The hotel itself seems to be tucked away in a residential area, so it's quiet and tree-lined and doesn't feel as commercial. The path leading up to the hotel is quite narrow and some cab drivers might hesitate to drive down, but they can make a U-turn once they reach the hotel. Cleanliness: No complaints whatsoever, and I'm a pretty nit-picky person when it comes to cleanliness. I especially appreciated the bidet toilet. Service: Every person we encountered during our stay was so kind and quick to help. Front desk always had a positive attitude and the housekeepers were so attentive. One of the best services they have here is the laundry service. They have a laundry room with self-serve washers and dryers, but if you're crunched on time you can drop off your clothes with the front desk and they'll provide wash and fold service free of charge. This was such a big help to us and freed up a lot of our time. For international guests, you do need a Chinese phone number to register for Wifi, but just ask the front desk for help and they'll get you logged in all devices. Facilities: Their breakfast buffet is incredible. Genuinely delicious and they change up the offerings daily. You can tell they put a lot of intention into it. If I remember correctly it was 38 RMB per person per day, which felt like such a steal for the value. The breakfast room is small and can get crowded but we never had issues getting a table. There's a coffee machine in the buffet room and in the lobby as well. Overall, really glad we chose this place for our time in Hangzhou. Next time I'm in this city I'll be sure to return.

Quite near to westlake area. But abit deep in without transportation. Hotel environment wise was quite nice and clean.

Hotel was nice and clean, staff were friendly and all amenities were provided Location was super convenient as it was a short walk to surrounding tourist destinations and food places but was still secluded and not in a hectic/crowded part of the west lake.

I felt like the male hotel staff wasn’t very happy to be treating guests. They seemed very inconvenienced to check me in or to give tips on local cuisine etc. besides that the hotel was fine and I liked the flair, the service was also still provided and good, however I would hope that the hotel staff in future doesn’t seem like they have an arrogant attitude. Overall still great hotel.

We had a very wonderful stay at Nostalgia. We went Shanghai after our Hangzhou trip but still thought of Nostalgia S hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staffs went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. The check-in was process was smooth and efficient, and the team was always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any requests. The room was clean, well-maintained, spacious, and had all the amenities that we never expected. One of the highlights of our stay was the customer service - every staff member we interacted with showed genuine care and professionalism. The level of service was consistent and impressive. Thank you to everyone at Nostalgia hotel for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality service and a pleasant experience.
