Millennium Resort Hangzhou

The environment here is absolutely stunning, and the room is very spacious. Although there are many mosquitoes, repellents are readily available. The service is exceptional – warm and helpful, with staff assisting with luggage and providing shuttle services. We had also arranged for a baby cot and safety rail beforehand. The only downsides are that the facilities are a bit old, and the dining options are just average.

This hotel is located right in the scenic area, giving you the feeling of staying in a small forest! 🌳 The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. The hotel seems to have been built quite a while ago, so some of the facilities are a bit dated. However, the breakfast was fantastic! Make sure to grab a window seat for a view of the lush greenery. There was a great variety of food, and I was even surprised to find large cuts of ribeye steak!

Let's start with the positives: The restaurant is good, with a wide variety of options for breakfast, and the main meals are also quite tasty. However, we stayed in a pet-friendly courtyard room, and the cleanliness was appalling. As soon as we entered, we saw a 30cm spiderweb on the bedside table, and there were pomegranate seeds and all sorts of trash on the floor. Even after we changed rooms (which the housekeeping manager had already inspected), we still found hair on the sheets. The hairdryer in the room was broken, making a loud noise and providing very little airflow. It was fine once a new one was provided. I was terrified when a huge beetle fell from the shower area. They also incorrectly registered our license plate for the West Lake scenic area, which shows a serious lack of attention to detail.

I originally booked a room at the North View Pavilion, but because my child loves swimming, I paid the difference to upgrade to a king-size bed room at the South View Pavilion, saving us the hassle of going back and forth. The service at this hotel was excellent all around – the front desk, restaurant, pool, and even the housekeeping staff were all very friendly. At 9 AM, there were staff members who led guests to the shallow beach area, which I personally think is the best spot for kids to play in the water at Nine Creeks Eighteen Bays. The only minor drawbacks are that the hotel shows its age a bit, with a small TV and somewhat worn carpets. Also, the lush greenery means there are some small bugs. Next time, I'll definitely stay for a few more nights.

My last stay at this hotel was ten years ago, and this time, everything was great. The room was well-maintained and the hotel environment was very good. The only issue was some construction noise outside. The front desk service was excellent. The dinner dishes tasted good, but the service needs improvement. The dinner staff were too busy setting up for the next day's breakfast, and didn't pay attention to guests still having dinner. I had to call them over every time I needed water.

The environment is quite good, very close to the scenic area. Nanling Pavilion is near the breakfast area and pool, but the view might be slightly less appealing. The hotel restaurant is a bit expensive, but the service is good. Overall service is decent, and the kids loved the pool. However, I do have one suggestion: charging extra for children's breakfast feels a bit ungenerous. Many resort hotels nationwide offer discounts or even free breakfast for kids, but this one charges based on height, which makes it feel less like a family-friendly hotel. Plus, 128 (yuan) for a separate breakfast isn't really worth it.

This hotel is located in the Nine Creeks scenic area, and both the environment and service are excellent. It's a great choice for families with children. My kids had a wonderful time stream trekking in the mountains, and the sunset walks were also fantastic. The air quality was superb! 👌

The room was quite spacious. You can call the front desk to have your takeout delivered to your room. Each room has a balcony, and it was very quiet at night, which made for a peaceful sleep. The hotel has a lot of greenery, making for a very comfortable stay.

The EV charger was out of order because the charging company went out of business. When I called the front desk, they said they had no idea where else I could charge, and they didn't inform guests about this beforehand. Also, there was no clear information when booking about the difference between the South and North buildings. I even found a previous guest's forgotten pants in the room. To top it off, the TV's internet connection was broken. This resort really fell short of expectations.
