Strategically located with a view of the West Lake. Buffet breakfast has a variety spread. Love the free boat tour as well! Would love to return to stay if back in Hangzhou.

As a USA traveler, this hotel was the Perfect location, great customer service. Silly as it sounds, we really appreciated the laundry room with commercial washer and DRYER. Wish we can stay longer

I really don't want to mention this hotel to anyone, would like to keep it it for myself only 🤭 The hotel everything is fantastic n the staff is wonderful. The west lake just Infront of us, the restaurant nearby are many many. 👍👍👍👍👍 Don't ask, stay and you shall love it.

Good to stay for relaxing while business trip

Chose Dahua Hotel (Grand Hotel) for its close proximity to the West Lake which is literally just at its doorstep. Very convenient for walks along the West Lake to visit scenic sites at any time of the day. The view is beautiful. There is also a complimentary yacht ride around the lake for hotel guests which the front desk will help to book during check-in. The bell boy was very attentive and helpful with the luggages.

Very classic hotel. Right at the West Lake. Nice to stay here as access to West Lake is just a walk within a minute. Within less than 10 minutes walk can go to shopping malls and shopping street.

The location is very good but outside is quite loud, the air conditioning is not working too well.

Great location and have a beautiful compound which have a back gate that opens directly to west lake. A great plus point is that staffs are helpful and friendly which we appreciate.

Indeed this hotel is from 1935 and in this era the hotel was smashing. However, today we are in 2024 and although it is still looking fantastic the building is old and very humid, at least at the first floor where we were. We had to change the first room because it was smelling bad and everything was humid. There was equipment placed to get the moisture out of the room but this was really not enough. The second room was already better but still the humidity was far too high above 65!! My wife really had breathing issues with the high humidity and we were really happy that we booked only two nights. The people and the breakfast in the hotel was great but that couldn’t compensate the bad environment where you had to sleep. If you have breathing or lung issues I would recommend not to book this hotel because it will make you really sick, again at least the first floor. How the environment is on the other floors I cannot judge because I have not experienced it. A hotel of this level should be able to really do something about it and not putting a piece of (loud) equipment in the room to get humidity right.

Good location! Nice amenities especially complimentary boat ride around Xihu. Worth the money!

Wonderful hotel in one of the most beautiful locations in China. This was our first stay at the Grand Hotel Hangzhou and we will stay there again on our next visit to Hangzhou and I can’t wait for it!

A lovely hotel on the lake, walking distance to the centre of the city. Location was great, I managed to do a day trip to Shanghai. Very nice staff, ready to help with any enquiries. Plentiful Chinese breakfast.
